Breathtaking views overlooking the Pyrenees. Such a perfect location for a fabulous painting holiday. An unforgettable experience. Beautiful accommodation and wonderful hosts, Rachel and Xavier made us so welcome. Amazing food and wine made even more enjoyable by the ever changing sight of those mountains!

Wow!! Stunning. Xavier, Rachel and the rest of the team make you feel like part of the family whilst standards of service are extremely professional. Everything from the environment, the furnishings, the pool, the view, the food, the wine, the welcome were just PERFECT. I spent a very special and memorable week here on a painting holiday with friends, thanks to the most amazing hosts at Clos Mirabel. Thank you!

This was an extraordinary week in every way. Perfect place for a week long painting course. Beautiful in every way. Te owners Xavier ad Rachel took care of us, fed us amazing food and provided a warm and friendly environment for everyone who stayed that week.

Spent a week here on a painting holiday. Absolutely stunning location; it was just fabulous to wake up to a beautiful view of the Pyrenees every day and watch the mountains change in colour as the day progressed. The food was out of this world, all freshly cooked and baked and much of it just picked that day from the kitchen garden. My room was really comfortable, very quiet at night and the staff were all delightful - friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Rachel, Xavier, Tess and Graham - I'll definitely be back one day!

Beautiful Place, Beautiful People, Beautiful Food, All with the most amazing view. Took part in an art workshop here in September 2023. Clos Mirabel is a little piece of paradise with the most amazing view. Food was amazing. Thank you Xavier, Rochelle, Gray, Tess, Amelie, Liea and Cashmere the rabbit.

What an amazing painting holiday. The Chateau is lovely and set in the most amazing setting with a stunning view of the Pyrenees. The Staff are so helpful and friendly and made the stay so very special. The food was exceptional and made even better by sitting outside under the lime tree. Would definitely return.

Fabulous location with fantastic views over the Pyrenees. Rachel and Xavier are supremely good hosts. The food is exceptional and it is all served with beautiful smiles and generosity. The accommodation is charming without being prissy.

Amazing stay with great views of the Pyrenees. The pool was warm and clean, the house and bedrooms were very cosy, and the breakfast each morning was superb! Would highly recommend. Also very close to Pau and other attractions.

This place is heavenly. We stumbled upon this place by accident, and without a reservation. The host, Xavier, graciously greeted us and offered us rooms and a bit of local wine. The house is a classic and grand home, which is very fresh and well cared for. The grounds are over the top with unbelievably beautiful views of the valleys and the mountains. The blue room view is amazing. The breakfast offerings were local and lovely in the pretty dining room. The drive to town is about 10 minutes. If we hadn’t needed dinner, we probably would not have left at all. Great stay!
