Located close to the beach and a great see side café to enjoy the view with. The park is clean with everything you need at a walking distance. Big trampoline pillow for the kids to jump on.

The location is excellent, just a two to three-minute walk to the pier and about five to six minutes to the restaurant street. Although it's called a hotel, it's actually a combination of cabins and an RV park. It was okay for a one-night stopover. The Wi-Fi was very poor; I couldn't get online in the room at all. I had to walk closer to the check-in office to connect, which definitely needs improvement.

This hotel is more of a guesthouse. Since we were out sightseeing all day, we arrived after 6 PM. The guesthouse manager had already emailed us the entry code, which made it easy to get our keys. The kitchen was convenient for self-catering.

The room facilities are old, and I struggled to open the door. The bedding was unhygienic; the comforter smelled of stale oil. The second bedroom had no air conditioning, only a wobbly fan. For a hotel in Julian Bay Resort, it's quite outdated. My experience wasn't good.

My partner and I stayed in a 1 bedroom Chalet. The verandah railing would not support a child if leaned on - one section had come away and has been left for some time not repaired. The Queen bed was on rollers and scooted across the room if bumped. The bed was only just acceptable and VERY cheap. The floors in bathroom and toilet need a good bleaching and the uprights on the shower have rusted to the point where there is a sizeable whole that you could cut yourself on - the shower door handle was snapped off. For nearly $250 per night it was VERY disappointing and we will not stay again. The other cabin we hired was a gift for frineds and that had lights and switches that did not work and an ant infestation which got into the food and no offer of replacement - the office just handed a can of spray over and sent us to do the spraying.

I didn't have high expectations for accommodation in a small town; options are limited and prices aren't cheap, even in winter, but it's okay for a one-time experience. It's normal for toothpaste, toothbrushes, and slippers to be absent, but not having basic shampoo and shower gel is unacceptable.
