Fantastic location, great service. Hotel staff are polite, friendly and considerate. Helpful to inform us about the town’s app and showed how to book shows. Gym wasn’t working but they offered to use another hotel. Select your breakfast upon check in but they’re not flexible to accommodate changes. Will stay here again next time.

Excellent value for money. The resort offers so many activities that just watching a few of the shows makes the room rate completely worthwhile. You could easily spend several days here, as performances run from morning till night. The dining at Meitang Hotel is pretty good too, and considering the great value, I'd suggest just having all three meals on-site.

We booked two rooms. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Afternoon tea included cakes and fruits; we could even pack them to enjoy later, which was convenient as our room had a refrigerator. Bringing our child under 3, we were happy they provided a complimentary crib.

This is a newly built hotel, arguably the best within the scenic area. However, the dining options here are quite disappointing. That said, the performances in the scenic area are worth the accommodation cost alone, especially the evening 'Da Tie Hua' (molten iron fireworks) show – I reckon it's a unique spectacle in Guangdong! The fireworks display immediately following the 'Da Tie Hua' is also incredibly impressive; they clearly spared no expense. I'd highly recommend it to friends in Guangdong for a day trip with an overnight stay.
