Jinxu Hotel, Chikan Ancient Town

We checked in on a Sunday in August, arriving at the hotel a little after 3 PM. My family had booked five rooms, but we couldn't get one until after 5 PM. We were eventually offered an upgrade, and the rooms were clean, neat, and conveniently designed. It was excellent. Chikan Ancient Town has beautiful scenery, but it's best to visit at dusk to avoid the heat.

The room is very suitable for children! The hotel is located in the scenic area, which is very convenient to get in and out, and it also includes tickets, which is very cost-effective. The children also like to play in the water park. Recommended

The rooms were spacious. We booked two, and one was upgraded to have a balcony door, offering a pleasant outdoor view, perfect for our elderly family. The other room didn't have a balcony door, which was a bit more cramped, but safe and suitable for children. The room also had plenty of mineral water, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was excellent, much more extensive than I expected. Unfortunately, the pool was closed when we visited, so we brought a lot of swimming gear but didn't use it. The location is excellent, close to two indoor theaters and the fire show. It was quite hot when we went, so the shorter the walk, the better. The only downside was the lack of laundry bags in the room, and the lack of a map at the front desk. We ended up getting a map of the park from another hotel. The front desk ladies were all excellent. I hope this hotel can do better.

The hotel was not prepared for the flow of people during holidays. I have been to so many resort hotels, but this one is really terrible. First of all, there is no guidance for the service. From check-in to entering the room to breakfast, there are pitfalls everywhere. Check-in: I went to register for check-in early in the morning and was told to get the room card at 3 o'clock. I queued for a long time at the check-in counter. When I was about to arrive, a male waiter who was checking in asked me to go to the original check-out counter next to get the room card. As a result, the queue was longer. I queued for a long time in the past. I saw that other people could also get room cards at the check-in counter, so I went back to get them again. The service staff was not well trained and made people queue up randomly. Just because of the mistake of the male waiter, we queued back and forth for almost an hour to get the room card, and this was after we checked in early in the morning. Then check-in: After finding the family room, it was actually on the first floor of Area B. As a result, the check-in waiter didn't make it clear. On the way, we asked the waiter where the room was. He pointed us directly to the third floor of Area A. At that time, we took our luggage and looked around the third floor of Area A. It was not right. Later, we came down and asked all the way. Finally, a waiter who knew clearly knew that it was in Area B. Aren't waiters trained? Several people along the way could not give directions properly. After checking in: There were many people during the holidays, and the rooms were checked in at around 4 o'clock, but the cleaning was very perfunctory. The towel rack was broken and the towels fell on the floor. There were also cotton swabs dropped by the previous or the previous guest scattered next to the trash can next to the toilet. If it weren't for the fact that it was very late and very tired after the tour, and I didn't know when I would have to look for a hotel, I would have given up. Breakfast on the second day: There should be a lot of people in advance. It is understandable that the dishes are sometimes emptied and replenished in time. However, this is obviously not prepared. The main point is that there is nothing. After waiting for about 20 minutes, there was nothing except fried rice and fried noodles, and even tea was not replenished. The table was full of garbage, which looked very bad. It took a long time to find a waiter to clean it up. Many guests had to eat with bowls on the sofa next to them. The waiter who cooked noodles was even more funny. He took a small bowl of porridge and filled a bowl of rice noodles. He asked if there was no big bowl. You can answer well that the big bowl is used up. As a result, the waiter who cooked noodles said, "Where can I get a big bowl? Go find a big bowl and give me a big bowl." I really didn't want to affect my mood with my child, so I didn't bother to pay attention. I sat on the sofa for rest and found a small push table to eat fried noodles. The environment was dirty and messy. I took two oranges out. The waiter said I couldn't take them out. I asked where you want me to eat. I didn't even have a table. I was told to stand there to eat. I'm really fed up with this restaurant. Even half a point is too much. I won't go there again. You can see the scenic spots. There is only one in Henan. Whether it's the scenic spots or the hotel services, the gap is not a little bit.
