LURES HOTEL

Found Lures beach club after trying a few others, it’s so much nicer. If you are looking for more exclusive/chic (more like an Ibiza style beach club) experience, this is the one. It’s also well maintained (good quality decking, infinity pool and no rusty steps into the sea… (unlike the others.) Alos the sea is warmer as there are no freshwater currents. Going back tomorrow with a reservation for a cabana package deal.

Rooms are very big, lovely. Whole resort has everything you want. Spa is of high standard. Food was good. Beach club was amazing. You got your exercise on the hill. Boat into town was a lovely touch. Some of the team struggled with understanding English but never a problem.

We spent 3 days at the beach club and the third was a lot busier (a Friday) when kids were a bit noisier and splashing in the supposedly adults only pool, but overall we would rate it as very good all round with great quality beds and umbrellas and bedside service

We recently got married at Lures Hotel and had the most amazing experience. Ramazan and his team made the planning and organising of the wedding incredibly easy.  Ramazan was able to organise the florist and decorations, the DJ and photographer, as well as ensuring the food and ceremony went smoothly. We were also invited to the hotel a few days before our wedding to discuss the timings of the day and taste the full menu. The hotel was an amazing venue for our wedding which provided stunning views of the Kalkan bay. Our guests were able to relax and enjoy the scenery while we finished getting ready. We were also provided with a stunning room with infinity pool for the day to relax and get ready in before the wedding. Our meal was served on a terrace with beautifully decorated tables and lighting which set an amazing atmosphere during the sunset. Our meal included mixed meze and roasted vegetables and BBQ mains which tasted incredible. Nihat and the kitchen team ensured all dietary requirements were taken seriously and the table service was excellent. Lures also provided a DJ for the evening who we met before our wedding day and discussed the music for our ceremony and the evening dances. The photographer managed to capture the day perfectly and got a great balance of posed and natural pictures with the scenery in the background. The hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding experience and our guests had a fantastic day. Thank you to Ramazan, Nihat and the Lures team!

The is the best beach club in Kalkan and it’s brand new. The staff are very attentive but not over the top. The price is reasonable £25 per bed but this will be deducted from your food and drinks bill. Very peaceful location immaculate beds and towels. We spent 4 days of our holiday here.

This hotel was beautiful! Stayed in a penthouse room which was huge, biggest balcony we’ve had anywhere. A lovely newly built peaceful hotel and the main pool had the best views and we loved being able to go down to the beach club area for the day, sea was lovely and clear! We had lunch many times at the hotel and 1 evening meal, all extremely tasty with lots of choice. The distance to kalkan town was a short taxi drive away, could be walkable but there are many steep heels nearby. Few choices of restaurants and supermarkets before reaching the town. There are quite a few steps from beach area up to rooms but you can always ask for a buggy to take you up if needed. We arrived beginning of season and at times it felt like the hotel wasn’t 100% ready in communal areas with sun beds being set up etc. At breakfast they bring the food to you and at times there was far too much and this seemed like a waste, we attempted to explain we wanted less but the waiters didn’t seem to understand much English but we loved the fresh orange juice and coffee and pastries etc. Cocktails seemed a little inconsistent depending on who made them that day but still delicious. Our flight home was late evening and they let us keep our room until 3pm with no extra charge which was very helpful! All in all we absolutely loved our stay at this amazing hotel and are already looking at coming back later on in the year! Thanks so much!

This is a beautiful hotel with a lot of service issues. We were not made aware that the hotel had only opened two days before we arrived on 3 May. This meant that the service suffered massively - the staff seemed very unsure of what to do and had little confidence. The hotel was also not fully up and running. There was maintenance going on throughout each day, the shuttle bus and water taxi into town were not running. It is difficult to walk into the town since the roads are so steep (our taxi to the airport struggled to get up the hills when we were leaving). The breakfast buffet was not running and was table service which involved the same breakfast selection being brought to table each day which was tasty but repetitive over 7 days. We raised this with the management who were kind enough to knock some money off of our final bill, but it did taint our trip a little. They said that the issues were caused by bad weather in the run up to opening the hotel, which was fine, but we had not received word about this in advance from the hotel or our travel agent. Hopefully the hotel will get up and running fully very soon, but I am not sure why the final preparation for opening and staff training was happened in May when they were up and running last summer and could have used the off-season to make these preparations.

This is a truly beautiful hotel with the most amazing views. The Beach club and cabanas are stunning. The staff are warm, friendly and happy to help in any way they can. The rooms are huge with wonderful views and very high end finishes/furnishings and wonderfully comfortable beds. The spa is great.,especially the Hamam. The view from the infinity pool Is stunning and fills you with an instant sense of calm. This is definitely a place to relax, recharge, and decompress. Fantastic Turkish breakfast with a choice of any eggs cooked to order. A special thank you to Ramazan for his help, kindness and unfaltering smile. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Look forward to returning in September! ❤️ .

Fabulous hotel still not quite finished but nearly there. Fabulous views from our panoramic suite & amazing space on balcony & beautifully done inside. Top notch!
