Esperides Beach Resort

I stayed there at the end of August 2025 and we really enjoyed our time. The staff were very welcoming and always ready to help, which made our stay comfortable and pleasant. The food was delicious with a good variety, and the service overall was excellent. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others

Stayed in a family room which was small but ok for the amount of time we spend there. My teenage son's had bunk beds which were quite small, better for small children but not teenagers. I have no complaints about the staff, food or drinks. The thing that let this hotel down was the amount of people, we went down to breakfast at 08:30-9am but struggled to get a table, it was so loud and busy. Lots of people letting children throw food on the floor and then just watched the hard working staff pick it up. The pools during the day were heaving, you could hardly move, on 3 occasions the pools where closed due to parents letting babies poo in the pool, it's not acceptable. If you wanted sunbeds around the pool or in the garden area you need to reserve them early. I welcomed a couple of hours at the beach as it was quieter and less busy. For the amount of money we paid for this holiday it was very much let down by the amount of people staying at the hotel, it was loud and crowded, not a relaxing holiday we had hoped for. I would return to the hotel but not in July/August.

Wow what can I say… Unreal hotel!! We would 100% return here some time soon. We stayed in 4007, big room (family of 4) with sea views. Room was spacious and the beds were unbelievably comfy. Air con worked so well for the whole stay. The pools are really good, plenty of sunbeds but get ready to be up at 7am for the beds closest to the pool. I didn’t see an issue with that at all. It’s normal now in Europe to compete at the crack of dawn for beds! Pool opens at 9am and the life guard is around from 10am ish. If you leave your sunbed without being there for a long period of time, it will be taken away from you at 11am and rightfully so. The beach is rocky and there are large slippy rocks till waist height (BRING SEA SHOES). Sea is super clear and you’ll spot lots of different fish. Sunbeds are free on the beach. Loads of stuff to do on the beach like jet skis etc and good prices. Food was top quality every night. So much variation and enough for picky eaters like my teenage daughter. Desserts were incredible. Tutti Fruity area was a very smart touch as the kids can go back and forth for snacks and candy floss etc. Catering staff always had a smile and the lady that greats you into the main dining area maybe the happiest lady I’ve met in Greece. Bars are equally as good. Yes the beer maybe weaker than we get at home, but tastes fine. Cocktails were very strong All sodas tasted great as well, Bar staff were always very friendly. The evening entertainment was simply unreal, every night! Greek dancing was fun, the 3 black ladies singing were phenomenal and the acrobatics were brilliant. Have to say, we were entertained each night. The entertainment during the day and kids club is superb. The staff work very hard and are always active. Personally enjoyed pool gym every morning at 11:30am. Noodle gym is good as well in the pool. There are pool tables and an arcade for the kids which were pretty good. The shop on site is well stocked and there is a shop outside near the pools for all inflatables and gifts. The hotel and grounds were one of the cleanest I’ve ever known in Greece, the staff are a credit to the owner. We travelled into Faliraki and were not overly impressed with the state of it. Really ran down these days. If you come out of the hotel and walk to your left, there is a lovely shopping centre about two hotels away, 5 mins walk at best. Here you can purchase gifts etc, there is something for everyone. Football kits for your football mad children as well . Taxi to old town was €24 and well worth it. We went near sunset time and it was pleasant. Taxi stations from 9-11:30pm are BUSY, expect a 1.5 hour wait for a taxi! Get the bus back if you can. We taxi shared on the way back luckily (not that the other family were happy with the taxi drivers decision ) Overall a brilliant stay here and we will return very soon. There is a reason it’s 4.5 rating on here!

Myself, husband and 13 year old son stayed at Esperides Beach Resort in April 2025. Positives - the best food we've had at an all inclusive resort in Europe. Plentiful, very well seasoned and food replenished quickly. The carvery station at the evening meal is a nice touch too. - plenty of sun loungers available around the pool and on the beach. - beach towels are free, no deposit required. Towel cards are handed out at check in, which can then be collected next to the shop near the pool from 10am each day. - the safe in your room is free, which is operated with your room key. - the entertainment team are friendly without being intrusive. - lots of entertainment included even though the hotel was only open 5 days when we arrived and is low season, this included; daily aqua aerobics, billiards, darts, beach volleyball and evening outside performers. - no long queues at the bar and bar staff were always friendly. - the hotel is very clean and a lot of public areas have been modernised. Negatives - check-in was awful. It felt chaotic, although it wasn't busy. Nothing was explained and was made to feel like an inconvenience, which isn't a great first impression. - we couldn't upgrade our room. I emailed the hotel prior to arrival to check if I can upgrade to a sea view room, and was advised it was due to availability on arrival. When checking in I was advised to try back the next morning for a supervisor, I did this and was told to come back later, which I did, to finally be told there's no availability. I said that there was availability showing on their website but I was then told you have to have the room your tour operator booked - why not say this at the initial email enquiry or when checking in? - rooms. We had a superior garden view room. It was dated but clean, with housekeeping attending to the room each day of our stay and always providing fresh towels. For anyone who has thick hair like me, bring your hairdryer or let the warm air of Rhodes dry your hair as it's better than the one provided in the bathroom. - Swimming pool It was absolutely freezing, it took my breath away at one point and had to get out. I imagine this gets better during the warmer months but we had a good week in April at approx 23 degrees. - soft drinks Not a big deal for most but worth a mention. It isn't branded coke, such as coca cola or pepsi. Overall we would return as the positives far outweigh the negatives.
