Kamakura Prince Hotel

Excellent environment, thoughtful service, unique views, and a distinctive breakfast.

Extremely satisfied! Shonan, which I've been looking forward to for a long time, isn't far from Tokyo. It only takes 2 hours by train from my home, so I can definitely come here more often in the future.

Overall, I was quite satisfied. Although it's a bit of a walk from the Shichirigahama tram station to the hotel, there's a shuttle bus that you can wait for at designated times. The hotel faces the beach, offering pleasant scenery, and I would recommend it.

Highly recommend this Kamakura hotel, the breakfast was delicious! The Prince Hotel's room view is absolutely stunning, directly facing Shichirigahama Beach with Enoshima in the distance. It's practically a Kamakura must-visit all in one spot, and there are many beautiful cafes down the hill. Although it's located on a hill, there's a direct elevator from the bottom of the hill up. I highly recommend taking this 'mountain-climbing' elevator, especially if you have luggage – it's super convenient. It's only a few minutes' walk from Kamakura Koko Mae, the Slam Dunk filming location. The entire area is scenic with the Enoden train. Waking up early to take photos there without crowds is amazing. I also recommend taking the Enoden train for one stop, it's only 200 yen, and you'll have a great time!

This hotel is nestled on a hill, offering stunning views of the ocean and Mount Fuji. There's a super convenient elevator that takes you right down to the coastal road, but taking a walk up and down the hill is also a pleasant experience.

A great place for a walk with the kids and to ride the tram. In the summer, the pool is open for children to swim at the hotel, but the sun loungers are chargeable.
