"Excellent value for money, super clean rooms, and a super friendly and helpful staff. It's a 20-minute drive from the center of Chania, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel. The nearby beaches are nice, but I still recommend traveling further. In my opinion, the best beaches in western Crete are Kalypso Beach (located within a resort but still accessible) and White Beach (also within a hotel but still accessible)."

Golden Rose Suites

"Arrived very late, early hours of the morning, lady owner waited up for us, showed us to our room and said we can sort all check in at breakfast. Very thoughtful and nice welcome. Room was spacious for a couple and a 5 year old child. Dining and kitchen area in the main area and separate bathroom with shower, and a balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast is nice with a choice of bacon, omelette, toast, lovely cheese and tomato croissant and pastries, boiled eggs, cereal etc. Good location for 10-15 minutes walk to beach, beach mainly pebble so swimming shoes recommended. Smallish pool but perfect for the 3 of us as no-one else used it. 2 restaurants very close with play areas. There were others a further walk away but the road was a bit scary to walk down. A little shop was over the road for essentials. The bus stop was almost literally over the road, and the bus was really easy to use and navigate so it was no problem to travel further afield during the day and evening. Given we have had 30 years of getting lost on buses we were obviously wary. It was so simple you almost can't get lost - famous last words..... Would definitely stop again. "

"We had a very pleasant stay at Kronos villas. We are a family of 4. The accommodations are a bit away from the heavy action of more busy areas and we truly enjoyed the calm atmosphere and proximity to a very quiet pebble beach. A private pool to cool off at the end of the day and all the amenities to ensure we can self cater. The villas are clean and well maintained. Above all that, the communication with the host was quick, friendly and helpful. Louladakis was awesome in helping with anything we needed and went out of his way to ensure ou comfort. Our entire family recommends Kronos Villas if you are seeking a nice holiday home for a quiet getaway."
