Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa

The Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa was a fabulous resort. It is located in Madikeri, India, and is a 4-hour drive from the Mangalore International Airport (IXE). We booked a luxury cottage, and the room was very good. The bathroom was colossal and came with a bathtub. The room was also huge, just like the bathroom, with a round, multi-purpose table. The room also came with a sofa and one more multi-purpose table. The room came with a plush, comfortable bed. One thing that could have been improved was adding a door before the toilet in the bathroom instead of just a walk-in toilet. As we went in monsoon, it was raining; however, we still had a lot of fun due to the indoor activities available. There were also baskets to hold umbrellas outside every single room, amenity, restaurant, etc., so we did not have much of a problem going somewhere by foot. The service by the staff was incredible; they were very kind and helpful. One important thing to note is that the resort consists of various different villas, and you will need a buggy to travel from one place to another. The resort was exceptionally clean and hygienic, but the buggies that guests traveled in to go from one place to another could have been cleaner. The amenities in the resort included Games Quest (an arcade), 2 TT (Table Tennis) tables, a fitness centre, 2 carrom boards, 2 chess boards, 2 billiards tables, a swimming pool, etc. The Games Quest was of 2 floors and included beanbags, books, small circular cubbyholes with tables that you could sit in, 2 car game simulators, 2 bike game simulators, a different version of foosball, air hockey, 2 playstations, etc. Altogether, I enjoyed 3 eventful and fun days in the Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa ***** with my family!!

A Rain-Kissed Retreat in Coorg – Room 2112 Diaries We arrived in Coorg just as the skies opened up, washing the hills in a soft, misty drizzle. It couldn’t have been better timed — the perfect weather to unwind and soak in nature’s beauty. Our room, 2112, turned out to be a cozy corner of paradise. The view from the balcony was nothing short of breathtaking. Rolling hills blanketed in emerald green stretched into the distance, disappearing into a dreamy veil of rain and fog. The sound of raindrops tapping gently on the roof, the scent of wet earth, and the cool breeze that drifted in made it feel like time had slowed down. Inside, the room was warm and welcoming — the kind of place that makes you want to wrap yourself in a blanket, sip on hot coffee, and just watch the world outside go by. Birds chirped in the distance, and every now and then, a playful breeze would dance through the balcony curtains. It was a simple pleasure — rain, mountains, and a room with a view. But sometimes, those are the moments that stay with you the longest.

we went their to celebrate our dads 70th bday and the staff went above and beyond to make it a spl experience for him including making chole for him for bfast on his bday (even though it wasnt in the breakfast buffet) Special shoutout to Prerna (restaurant staff) for taking such good care of us, Anirudh Deshpande (chef) for his recommendations and the chole, Mr Joshi for his reccos on what to do in Coorg and Lithin - for one of the most interesting nature walks - we all learnt something new. All in all - great experience, great views, nice clean property and very good staff. Only one suggestion - if you could look at expanding the menu for your specialised restaurant by the valley

It’s truly one of the best hotel I have stayed. Truly amazing. Great stay, excellent food, great spread in buffet, great bar facing the valley. They have a great property spread across some 37 acres. They took us for a plantation drive, trekking etc. we truly loved the place and hospitality.

We (teenage son, wife and me) spoiled ourselves with an ultra-luxurious staycation at the Coorg Marriott Resort & Spa. While Coorg (a hill station in Karnataka) itself is a beautiful place, the resort was extraordinary. Nestled inside forests, and surrounded by coffee plantations, we really spoiled ourselves vacationing in a fantastic suite/villa. We had our first collective spa experience with "Swedish" massages. Whether it was the swimming pool, or playing pool in their well-maintained indoor sports facilities, or simply walking through extremely well-manicured surroundings, the whole stay was a memorable one. Our longer-than-average week-long stay also allowed us to enjoy extra-hospitality of the staff - as an example, we were served customized mocktails during our dinners in special animal-shaped glasses. I was also able to revive and share my table tennis playing skills with teenager - he needs to improve to catch up with his old ***!

In one word, it was an amazing experience. The property is vast, nestled within a valley and mountain range, and is royally maintained. The food, Resort staffs including Restuarant, Cleaning, buggy drivers and guards, were all decent and well-trained. It's the best place in Coorg for a relaxing stay with family or friends amidst nature.
