wonderful stay at Debom Rest! clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. staff friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our stay. had dinner at hotel restaurant, avocado drink was awesome! food was another highlight – fresh, flavorful, and with a good variety of both local and international dishes. breakfast was ok only though. overall will recommend for anyone visiting Kandy – we would definitely stay here again!

The room they gave us .. water pump room was above .. sound was going crazy .. the manager upgraded us to the emerald suite which was great !

Amazing hotel! Great location, you could walk to the temple of tooth. The staff was very nice and the room had basically everything I needed.

The location is excellent, just at the corner of the lake and only 10 minutes by foot to the relic temple. The room is spacious, and the bed and pillow are very comfortable. It's great value for money.

The safety deposit box was broken, and the check-in process felt quite inexperienced, making it clear that the staff's overall experience is lacking, which unfortunately affects the service quality. I could overlook it for a one-night stay, but I wouldn't want to stay multiple nights. While the amenities are probably fair for the price, replenishment and follow-up weren't handled well, and I noticed that the cleaning wasn't thorough in the finer details.
