We were in Oakray Regency Kandy for 2N (family of 4, 2 rooms). Stay was arranged by our travel coordinator. Pro Friendly staff Lobby has several attractive artifacts for photos Gave us adjacent rooms w/balcony overlooking the river Rooms had coffee maker, safe, soap and shampoo (but no dental kits) Hot water takes some time to warm up 5 min walk from the main road Main road has a Keells supermarket within walking distance 15-20 min away from Kandy town on the Colombo-Kandy road Large restaurant hall, we enjoyed breakfast buffet (coffee is bad though) Large car park Roof-top pool (which we didn't use) To note The floor plans are slightly tricky. with paths that need familiarization (lifts to some places, steps to others, sharp right turns etc.) Popular venue for marriages, with some 4-5 marriages a day (during our stay). We kept running into marriage parties in the lobby and halls. Plus ceremony and music plays late into the night. A-la carte options are limited. Room service was slow Monkeys and geckos may visit the rooms! Overall: We enjoyed our stay and will recommend for others as well.
