We had a nice stay. The facilities are not new but very clean and well maintained. It's a bit far out, so you'll need to take a ride anywhere.

Pros:
-Great location, beautiful view of the river
-Wonderful dinner buffet
Cons:
-Check in took close to an hour as they couldn’t find my booking. Had to reach out to trip.com for help. That said trip customer service is excellent
-Rooms are quite old and had a musky smell

It's not bad. It's worth the price. I've stayed there once. The room is beautiful, the staff is convenient and efficient, and there's a lot of food for dinner. It takes ten minutes to walk to the lake.

The room was clean and comfortable. Sitting in the lobby and around the swimming pool is very comfortable, you can be in a daze all day long! The surrounding environment is very good. There is a lake next to the hotel and a small hill opposite. Wake up in the morning and listen to the birds singing, by the way, there are many crows here😄

A very enjoyable 3 day holiday with my family. Very friendly staff with Roshan Jayaneri at the front office leading his team with a welcome smile & kind words. F & B Manager, Nalin Ranasinghe & Executive Chef, Dinesh Samarakkody were always hands on, checking on our needs & shortcomings in the restaurant. Danushka & Sashi in the Restaurant were all out to please. Thank you, Citadel!

The service is a genuine 5-star experience, the location as idyllic as can be, al in an architectural gem from the 80s. Special thanks to mrs. Ashmini and mr. Sasi of the restaurant and the beautiful towel creations by mr. Sam Path. The area is very quiet, with the feeling of being in the nature, but also close to the city.
