Maya Sanctuary

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The artist's cottage is located in an idyllic place in the bush by a small creek, a beautiful location

We had a romantic few days away and stayed in the "Victoria" cottage. We adored the quiet, the kangaroo family that visited us at our door one morning and the countless soaks in our private hot tub! Everything was clean and well maintained. We packed all our own food so we didn't have to leave the sanctuary so as to enjoy every minute fully in our surroundings. We cooked quite a few BBQs and enjoyed eating outside with nature. We loved the fire place, and the electric blankets as it was quite cold in August when we stayed. We are definitely coming back! Enjoyed ourselves thoroughly 👌

We stayed at Illowra House, Maya Sanctuary for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary, including three generations of our family. We honestly couldn't have had a better location. All the bedrooms have ensuites, and there's plenty of room for people to gather together, or to get some space if they need it. Incredibly well-equipped kitchen, and a dining table that easily fit all 12 of us, making the celebration perfect. The details are impeccable – crisp, cotton sheets and fluffy, white towels; the spa heated up ready for us to use straight away; a fire ready to light in the back yard with a view over the valley. We really didn't want to leave, and are already dreaming of booking the Artist's Lodge for a quieter getaway soon.

We stayed for two nights in the Sirius cottage and enjoyed ourselves throughly. The cottages are simple comfortable with a touch of luxury. But in reality it's all about the hot tub and the views. There is nothing better than waking up early and enjoying the hot tub, a coffee and the beautiful scenery. The location is stunning, I only wish we had more time to spend exploring the property.

WOW!!!!! I was absolutely amazed when I arrived to the beautiful cottages. When we had first walked in, we all thought there is no way this is our room for such a bargain price, there must be a mistake. We stayed in the Moonlight Room which was upstairs but downstairs was a clean and neat kitchen right next to the fireplace. As you walk in, theres a living room with another fireplace surrounded by gorgeous antiques. My favourite part- the roomy hot tub located on the balcony overlooking the gorgeous peaceful scenery. Our room was so neat, clean and a very generous size. I just want to say thank you to Julian who was so accomodating to my two friends and I on the weekend. He was so considerate and left three of everything- robes, towels, chocolates, pillows etc. My friends and I were so happy and absolutely loved our stay. We will definitely be visiting soon but we will make sure it is definitely a longer stay.

My partner and I just spent 6 days at Maya Sanctuary. It is the most beautiful place, beautiful native plants everywhere you look.Very clean and tidy. The spa was amazing, we actually spent most of our time in it. Blackheath is reasonably close by for shopping needs and there is a takeaway place ( which has great coffee) 10 minutes away.. Lots of other attractions close by.Julian and the team are very helpful and happy to take care of anything you ask.. We absolutely loved our time there and we'll hopefully be able to visit more often..Highly recommend for couples who need a time out from every day life ❤️
