Anantya by the Lake

Stayed at Anantya for 4 nights in July and we had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Sadhana pool villa and the large private pool attached to the cottage was a fun experience for the kids. The property itself is so unique, sitting on the banks of the Chittar lake and you get a serene, heavenly experience when you wake up and step out of the cottage. There are multiple activities for adults and kids to enjoy in the property. The food was top notch with a huge spread for breakfast and many options to choose from for lunch and dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make sure that our stay was comfortable. Would highly recommend Anantya by the Lake if you are in the Trivandrum/Kanyakumari region.

The property is beautiful, situated on the shores of a lake offering a calm and serene place to unwind. The property is very well maintained, staff is very courteous and food was very good. We will be definitely revisiting the place . Had gone there to celebrate my daughter's birthday with family. The staff arranged everything very nicely at the gazebo by the lake and made it very memorable for her and us.

Anantya By The Lake is an awesome & mind blowing place. I was there with my family on 17th April 2025 & left on 18th. My wife & daughters were thrilled with the out of the world experience and didn't want to leave the place. The place is a picturesque spot with a cinemascope canvass view surrounded "By The Lake", mountains and the green surroundings. At Anantya, we felt like being in a paradise on earth. The privacy and ambience gave a feeling of relax and calmness beyond words. The cottages & landscape are designed so beautifully & aesthetically. The architectural charm easily blends with the landscape designs. The open bathrooms are a class apart with their unique style merging nature and fish ponds with rustically designed mud walls. The architectural elegance is exceptional. The maintenance of such facilities, of course, must be really expensive & costly. Once being there, no body can forget the heavenly experience. The food was great & excellent. The chef should be one among the best. The staff were courteous & truly helpful. Mr Vinod (Restaurant) needs special mention. The only sad & diappointing thing for me & my family , was leaving the place.

Great Ambience where this resort located. Specifically the Tea point and the Restaurant.. Staff were polite., Restaurant staff were easily approachable understand our kids preferences and served food., Overall experience was very pleasant.,

The view from the room was simply breathtaking, offering a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding greenery, making every moment spent in the cottage a pure delight. One of the highlights of the accommodations was the incredibly spacious bathroom, equipped with both a luxurious bathtub and a refreshing shower. The bathroom's large size added to the overall comfort, providing ample space for relaxation and rejuvenation. It was complemented by a charming small courtyard that offered a private outdoor space for unwinding. The courtyard's tranquil ambiance, with its colorful flowers and gentle breeze, made it a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening read. Walking around the resort was a delightful experience. The well-maintained grounds provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The pathways were lined with beautiful flora, and the sound of birds added to the peaceful atmosphere. The carefully curated landscaping and the natural beauty of the surroundings created an enchanting environment that invited leisurely strolls and moments of reflection. Despite its remote location, the cost of food and services was very reasonable, which added to the overall luxury feel of the place. The resort's restaurant offered an extensive menu that catered to all tastes, from local delicacies to international cuisine. Breakfast was particularly delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including freshly baked pastries, tropical fruits, and hot dishes. The service was exemplary, with the attentive staff ensuring that every need was met promptly. The staff's genuine warmth and hospitality made every meal an enjoyable experience. Housekeeping was quick and efficient, maintaining a spotless living space and attending to any requests with a smile. The resort also provided a buggy service for those who found it hard to move around, making it accessible for all guests. The buggies were readily available and driven by friendly staff who were always willing to assist, ensuring that guests could explore the resort's vast grounds with ease. The resort grounds featured a wonderful games area with activities for all ages, a lovely infinity pool with stunning views of the lake, a kids' play area, and well-maintained badminton and tennis courts. These amenities ensured that there was something for everyone to enjoy, from children to adults. The infinity pool, in particular, was a highlight, offering a serene spot to relax and take in the picturesque views of the lake. The games area provided entertainment and fun, while the sports courts encouraged guests to stay active and engaged. Dotted around the resort were swings and hammocks for everyone to enjoy and take

The entire team at anantya are excellent. Right from housekeeping Shalini and girija to all the breakfast staff. They extremely courteous and anticipate our needs very well.
