The Pelican Lodge

The food was amazing...the service was amazing...Ken Joseph and Catherine came through for us in unexpected ways....they made sure whatever we asked for was provided and in time ....overall the experience was excellent. We couldn't ask for more

The room was spacious, spotless, and had a pleasant fragrance. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and roomy. I particularly enjoyed having my meals in the common dining area while taking in the beautiful view. The vibrant birdlife and stunning lake view were truly a delight. It was a family-friendly environment, and the children had a fantastic time swimming and cooling off in the hot weather.

The food was really nice,the rooms were so clean but I was dissapointed with the waiting staff,Waiter Joseph served as while he was drunk,Waiter Ken was always on his phone,Waitress Ada was the only one who was sharp and very Attentive to us.

I don’t know how anyone could have a bad word to say about Pelican Lodge! We were made to feel so welcome and encouraged to explore the grounds and take lots of photos throughout. The food was delicious and our dietary needs were well taken care of. The views from Pelican Lodge of Lake Elementaita are stunning, with many pelicans and flamingos. The rooms were clean, with all the facilities you could need and the bed was comfy. The highlight for me was getting to know the 3 shy cats that were around. I forgot to pack one in my suitcase though! Thank you so much for looking after us. Would love to come back in the future.

I spend 3 nights at Pelican lodge with my family. I was amazed by how everyone treated my old folks and assisted them thought the stay. When they are happy Iam happy! I stayed in the cottage while my folks stayed in the deluxe rooms. The rooms were clean and the cottage is super spacious. Probably the lodge can improve on turn down services. As in, it's so hard to tell if a housekeeper came to your room when you were away. Probably roll out the mosquito next or anything to make their presence felt. Food was good, fresh and enough. We never lacked. The service staff were friendly but they lacked basic customer service skills. I would only give it to them for clearing the tables fast when guests are done eating. But they would never ask you if you want a drink to go with the meals or upsell something. The ground has well manicured grass and a great view of the lake. With a binocular or a good DSRL camera, you don't have to pay park fees to see flamingos I would recommend pelican lodge as a midrange property, which the the most affordable in the area

The entire environment and people are welcoming. Amazing customer service, and the food was good. I also enjoyed the music. Housekeeping was excellently done and the keepers were very friendly especially Rhoda. I would recommend this lodge for a family vacation.
