Royal Fine Hotel

The service was great, and the facilities were decent, though a bit dated. The location is good, close to the night market and the metro. However, shortly after lying down, I discovered a huge cockroach crawling on the headboard – I've never seen one that big! I called staff, and they came with insecticide to kill and remove it, but it really left me with a lasting impression.

The hotel's hygiene was impeccable; the room was spotless and odor-free, and the bedding and bathroom were clean and fresh. The overall environment was comfortable, and the service was attentive. I was extremely satisfied with this stay.

It's not bad, pretty clean and spacious. It's a bit far from the metro station, but luckily Uber is convenient.

Would not recommend this guesthouse! 1. The so-called 'large window' couldn't be opened for fear of rats getting in. Anyway, there was no view, just a wall. 2. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly, leaving a big gap. How is that acceptable for a double room? 3. There were only two hangers, barely enough for one each. 4. The bath towel and bath mat were old, tattered towels from another hotel – absolutely ridiculous. 5. If you wanted an extra bottle of water or an extra towel, you had to pay extra. Their excuse was 'environmental protection,' yet there was no recycling in the room. 6. Check-in isn't until 3 PM, and they kick you out by 11 AM. They start charging extra if you stay even a minute longer. Is this common practice in hotels in Taiwan? Is it reasonable?
