Kaohsiung Lingya District 5-star Hotels

The room wasn't huge, but it was spotless, and the bed was large and very comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful; they assisted with luggage, explained all the hotel services, and even offered a taxi booking service. Its location is great, just a 10-minute walk from the city center and its commercial district. Plus, you can buy pastries right in the lobby.

The hotel is conveniently located about 10mins walking distance to Sinyi Elementary School Station. The hotel lobby is kinda grand but as its a hotel with long history, lacks abit lustre. my room is on the 15th floor. spacious room with shower and bathtub, big window with good view.. room doesnt come with an international wall socket (only tw 2 flat pin) so remember to bring along the travel adapter, otherwise will have to ask the hotel for one. hotel breakfast is decent.. many beverages to choose from.. overall is ok but the room's aircon is super cold and no matter how i adjust the temp and fan mode it doesn't help.. i had to sleep with the aircon off and hid under the duvet whole night..

the service was good.. the food wasgood no problem because it has meals for kids.. my only concern was the parking area at the basement.. the driveway going in at the basement and going out it was too narrow and too slippery and steep.. our car was scratched.. thats the only problem we had..tne parking driveway..thank you..

Super old United Kingdom style hotel from the 1970s . If you want to go back to 1970 to see England or Australia , back in time you can stay here. Honest , a hotel from Sydney in 1970 would look like this , everything is original. Would need huge money to upgrade the place. The street outside has many ******* from Vietnam and China late at night in front of the spa building waving to foreigners, it’s a very big party area

We stayed for 2 nights in a Super Deluxe Room. The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed, and has a good-sized bathroom. Plenty of work space. It is well located next to the main train station with easy links to the HSR and city centre. The area is undergoing some much needed improvements so will have a nicer outlook when it is all done. Breakfast was OK, a bit minimal for a Western palate but good enough. I would have liked to have more choice of eggs (boiled, cold only), a wider choice of fruit, and maybe a croissant or other pastry. The coffee was good though. The hotel falls short on some small details, cutting corners to save money. For example, they provide a kettle but then give a paltry choice of two different teabags and one coffee sachet (and no spoon), which is not good if you are 2 people in the room. There is hardly any hanging space for clothes, no drawers/shelving. The hand towels are very small, and the hair dryer was a very cheap and ineffective model. There was no hand soap in the bathroom - only body wash and hair shampoo/rinse in the shower unit - not easily reachable to where you washed hands. There were no hooks in the bathroom. One more annoying issue is that you have to log in to the wifi connection every time you come back to the room - it does not reconnect automatically and both the name and password are complex ones. Overall, a reasonable stay for 2 nights but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.

The hotel is conveniently located right by Kaohsiung Train Station/MRT station, just a 5-minute walk from the exit. While dining options are a bit limited in the immediate vicinity, the train station itself features a vibrant street with unique snack stalls and anime shops, which is quite popular with young people. You'll find 7-Eleven and FamilyMart convenience stores conveniently located directly across the street. The rooms are also quite spacious, offering excellent value for money.

It's very close to Kaohsiung Station and the cleaning is very clean. The only drawback is that the spare parts are not given in response to environmental protection and it is inconvenient to have to buy special ones. But the rest is good~

We had a great stay at CU Hotel Kaohsiung! Knowing it’s a ”self-service” hotel, we set our expectations accordingly, especially given the very affordable price. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station, making it super convenient for travelers. Check-in is self-service, and while I encountered some trouble with the touchscreen, a staff member was readily available via the phone and guided me through the process smoothly. Great service! The room was exceptionally spacious, which was a pleasant surprise. Even without windows, it didn’t feel dark or claustrophobic. The bathroom was a good size and even had a bathtub. Everything was very clean, and having a water dispenser on every floor was a nice touch. For this price point, it’s definitely a great value. I’d gladly stay here again!

Friendly service staff. The environment is clean. It's very comfortable to be on a business trip for three or four days. But the only pity is. There was only one chair in the room. Working indoors is not easy. It is recommended to prepare an inexpensive square plastic high chair (as shown in the picture) which is sold in Xiaobei. If any guest needs it, they can ask the counter. Check out and return it. This is more perfect.

Most of the staff are nice and helpful. Great location with a snack bar and gym. Breakfast included. However, it needs to hugely upgrade its sound-proofing. The showers next door and upstairs were loud like those people were showering right on top of my head. The noise of their every putting up and resting the shower head was as clear and loud as if they are standing in front of me. I couldn’t fall asleep til everyone finished their showers after 2am. I lived on 2/F. I could hear the laundry on B1/F. If you work online where you needa keep your microphone on, no way. The busy scooters on the street would embarrass you. I tried to stay out of the windows but the showers next door was worse. It turned out that my online work was disturbed, leaving a bad impression to my colleagues and clients.
