We had a very pleasant stay. You can enter the hotel at any time with your own pass, people without a pass cannot enter. The room was clean and the staff spoke English.
We found the breakfast rolls a bit dry but that was no problem because there was more than enough other choice for breakfast. Different types of yoghurt with different types of breakfast cereals. Rolls, toast, toppings.
Parking was a bit more difficult, you have to park in the street in parking spaces that fill up quite quickly.
In terms of location, you are close to a very nice park and with a 10-minute walk you are at the metro and a small center. Perfect location.
We definitely recommend the hotel.

You can’t get better elsewhere
Very bad breakfast, they won’t even do a fry egg for you, no lift, tiny room, small windows, mattress was the only good thing in the room, bad customer service from staff, except a nice lady in reception at the start, street parking, not secured.
I don’t recommend.

Everything you need. Don't find for something different in Praha, Shato is the best solution, either if you have a car like me or if you need public transports, the big city is served all night long, Xmas and NYE included. Staff was outstanding, and Tatiana more, she took care of me in every way possible. They offered me late check-out on NYD and breakfast was served from 10am after a long night on Silvester. They are Russians so it was really a big experience having a taste of their food. Have to say I will stay overnight for two more days, and then two more, it says all. Parking is free and easily found closest to the hotel. Old Town is 10 km far but you will reach every place inside and outside Praha thanks to a strategic position. I have to do nothing more to highly recommend Shato.

I spend one night here and booked this hotel based on reviews. However I was expecting better experience. Spider nets in corners could be cleaned at least time by time, water had a very light yellow coloring when filling the tub and no one on reception during check out to share my feedback. Breakfast was OK, I would prefer scrambled eggs instead of hard-boiled eggs.
