Check in was the quickest I’ve had in years as the reception lady was on the ball. Parked straight outside the room, unloaded my bags in seconds and started work at the desk in the room. The bed was comfy, pillows were even more comfy, shower was hot and the towels were nice. There is a microwave, fridge, kitchen sink, electric hot plate and enough plates/cutlery to make a simple meal or reheat one if you need to. This was a real surprise and was very convenient. There were some small downsides: Aircon is a big clunker unit that sounds like a small truck has started up when it kicks in during the night. Toilet was dripping but I shut the bathroom door to fix that one! That’s it, the rest is good news. Location is perfect and you’ve got a sports bar, Indian, Burgers and cafes literally across the road. Sadly I didn’t get to look around the grounds at all, but I believe there’s a pool etc. This is now my favourite place in Karratha and I’ll be back for sure.
