Never ever recommend this hotel. Never go there. They reserve rooms in low rate & charge triple time of booking rate when you chk out. There are ***** in this hotel combine with Kataragama police staff to threat guests to pay what ever amount they say. Food also terrible . Very unclean low quality staff . No maintenance hotel area. So never ever go there I have very bad experience

I spent 2 days at Hotel Chenra with my family and it was a great experience. Great food and facilities with nice and friendly staff. All the facilities were very well maintained and it was one of the best place I have stayed in Katharagama so far.

We family with 5 people stayed at the cottage on 5/8/2022. Cottage was spacious and and cleaned. Bathrooms were not well maintained.one bathroom had No Hot water.other bathroom hot water shower hose broken. I changed it by myself.I was really surprised when they said that they are not giving Bed Tea, even though its a 3 star hotel.Price was 12000 as they said initially. But when they checking out they charged 10% service charge. So beware of hidden charges
