Secret Forest - Wellness Retreat & Healing Spa

The spa has changed owners recently and although the spa experience was just as good unfortunately it was let down by the food served for lunch. In the past the food was excellent with plenty of choice, but there was only fruit and salads, giving very little for fussy teenagers to eat.

I went up to this beautiful getaway in the mountain villages for some much needed TLC and they did an excellent job. Me and my friends booked the mini escape package which allows us to have lunch use all the facilities and jet pools aswell as a body scrub and a massage, I upgraded my massage to a deep tissue and my masseuse Tina was amazing, for a lady so petite she had a lot of power! Due to working in hospitality my body gets a lot of wear and tear but after a day up at the healing spa I feel like a new woman! I will be back!

I have been going to the spa for a few years and usually have lunch at the hotel afterwards. The spa was up to the usual good standard, but unfortunately the restaurant was not! Before, we had waiter service and a menu, and the food was excellent, and usually busy. We were told this time it was a buffet, but it turned out to be just salad, fresh fruit and no protein whatsoever. Not good!! If I were a hotel guest I would be very disappointed. In future we will use the spa but eat somewhere else.

We book our stay one night before when we arrived the woman in the Rezeption said we have only rooms with garden view left. We went to the restaurant and order carpaccio which was served frozen, when we complain the woman in the Rezeption said „that’s the way we serve it“. The drinks in the restaurant are also not high class. The spa area the steam sauna was not working. In the evening we went again to the restaurant because we booked all inclusive and order Salomon which also was not good. For a price for 1 night 290€ the standard must be much higher. We are living in Limassol just wanted to enjoy a relax weekend but it was a failed. We will not recommend the hotel for our friends which will come to visit us in the future.

A very pleasant hotel in beautiful green surrounding, with nice small villages and nature walks. Rooms were clean and pleasant, with the only major negative issue being the stench of sewerage from the bathroom during late evening and morning. The ront desk staff were in denial regarding this terrible smell. In general most staff were not very friendly with all sorts of rules and regulations regarding pool use, pool towels etc.

Five star Spa at a beautiful picturesque location in Cyprus. Very serene and the isolated village to rest after a long week in the office. Away from kids and noise as its for adults only! Take time to heal with your loved one and give yourself a relaxing massage and a swim in the healing waters.

I went up today with a group for friends for the mini day escape, it was excellent value for money, as we got the chance to use all the spas facilities aswell as the jet pools lunch and a body scrub and the best massage to date! Tina from Thailand was amazing, for a petite lady she has a lot of power, when o return I will be sure to request her again! I would highly recommend and it is a great escape for paphos locals to get out the city and be at one with nature! I will be returning 😊

Our room was alright but a bit small. The location was fine and had a balcony.. The bed was comfortable but I was disappointed that there was no fridge or kettle. There was a Nespresso coffee machine with two coffee pods. I drink loose leaf jasmine tea which I cary with me. Using the water from the Nespresso machine tainted the flavour and wasn't hot enough to infuse my tea properly. We did find the long life milk eventually for my husbands coffee! At check in we filled in a registration form which asked about food allergies. I noted gluten intolerant. We had lunch poolside after a seamless check in. I ordered a caesar salad with prawns and no croutons. It was a minuscule portion, covered with croutons! The waitress did offer to change it, but we wold have been eating separately, or my husband would have waited and then had cold soup..I picked them out but wasn't impressed .My evening meal of pork loin was cold. I did send that back. The masseuse was good however she massaged my scalp and hair with some product. When we went to shower and dress for dinner, I discovered the shower head was low level hand held over the bath. So I couldn't wash my hair. Tiny bathroom but adequate, looking a bit tired and in need of a spruce up. We used the sulphur baths but they can only run one set of pumps at a time for each plunge pool. The one that was running is very powerful water spouts which sprayed over my face. I was worried my contact lenses would get washed out.As there was a client also in that pool at the same time, they couldn't turn the other one on. We have. a fabulous jacuzzi at home, so we opted to just leave, get dressed and go home. The changing room showers didn't have shampoo and conditioner, so yet another opportunity to wash my hair, gone!

A perfect escape from the kids, husband and life in general. So relaxing. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The spa was great and the masage was amazing. The food was delicious and the room and place in general was spotlessly clean. Will definately be going back there again.
