The location is perfect, right at the heart of the city. The view is great, too.
The staff are amazing: Bibek informed me about everything I asked, from means of transport to some specialties. I didn't have a kettle in the room, and he got me one.
The breakfast was nice, although served only starting from 11 am (which is a bit late to my taste).
The biggest issue is hot water that is warm, but i guess that's the case pretty much everywhere in Nepal. There's an AC, a bar of soap, a toothpaste and a toothbrush, a towel, two chairs, but no desk.

Excellent location in the heart of Thamel, very good value for money and magnificent views of the Kathmandu mountains and the city from the roof top. On the other hand, there were two cockroaches in the room, which was relatively clean (but not spotless)

Quiet hotel, they gave me a scare when they told me that I had canceled 2 days with ******* hahaha I made a reservation with trip.com hahaha then everything was sorted out very poor breakfast otherwise quiet

It's located between the downtown area and the local area, so it's easy to go to various places.
There is an ashtray in the room, so you can relax and smoke in your room. I think the cost performance is good as there is an elevator, air conditioning, and hot showers.

It was a great location and the staff at the front were very friendly. I was very grateful that when I had a problem, they immediately resolved it when I contacted them. And the restaurant on the 7th floor was also delicious. It was a room with a city view, and the large window let in plenty of sunlight, and the heater and hot water worked well. It was so warm and comfortable, and convenient facilities, shops, pharmacies, coffee shops, laundry, etc. are right nearby, so I recommend it๐ If I go to Thamel next time, I want to make a reservation again. thank you

The service here is excellent. I can't say enough good things about the service at this hotel. The staff here truly cares about their guests.The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. We would come back just for the service.

Impeccable Cleanliness and Maintenance"Rooms were spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained.The hotel's cleanliness surpassed . We stayed here for 5 nights and we had a pleasant stay. The room was very big, clean and modern. Breakfast was also great. We are definitely gonna go back to this hotel if we stay in hotel de universal again.
