Lemon Tree Hotel

Firstly this property is not the lemon tree hotel that everyone of us know as a chain Hotel but rather a family owned hotel. And This was probably my WORST experience in my entire life staying with the hotels and resorts and all thanks to DAMBER ALLEY. He probably lacks the professionalism, respect, skills, knowledge and almost everything that is required in hospitality industry. He solely made our stay so disappointing. He speaks to you like you owe him something and as if like you are the one who is providing him the service. When asked for any kind of assistance he would respond to you in bossy manner and sarcastic tone. I then asked him if he is the owner of the hotel and he says the hotel belongs to his nephew however, even if it’s the owner himself he should know how to behave and speak to the guests. I was travelling with my dad and it was our last stay at Nepal but his behaviour ruined our whole experience as my dad was also very disappointed and disturbed the whole time all because of Bambers behaviour and attitude. He was probably the rudest person I met in Nepal. Further more there was no lift in the hotel and there was no one to assist you with the luggage meaning we had to carry our own luggage, I complaint him of the tv signal and he literally showed me how to turn on the tv and not just go up and look for himself. There was no hot water in the toilet in the morning to even take a shower. There was also hairs on the bed. Lastly I would never suggest anyone staying at such a hotel where there is people like Damber at your service.

This must be the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Asia for a number of reasons but staff very kind and helpful and overall very clean, 1 we only had hot water 1 day out of 4, but when it was hot very good strong shower. 2 the noise was constant very loud and disturbing, traffic cars beeping horns, dogs barking 4 till late evening, birds, pigeons and crows dawn till dusk. 3 guests arrive from the night buses arriving to rooms from 3.30 to 5.00 talking banging luggage trolleys. 4 nearby construction and factory 7 days a week. The managers day/night and cleaning and restaurant staff where super helpful and super nice and overall the location is excellent as food shops coffee houses and the main sights and transport are all close at hand, local bus station 5 mins slow walk away.

Room given not as per discription and not give mentioned amenities. We have no other option so we stay in lemon tree pvt. Ltd hotel, thamel kathmandu

Great clean room in a great location. Within walking distance of food/beverage places. Excellent breakfast, 24/7 hot water and working wifi. Staff very accomodating. Very nice find in the hustle and bustle of Thamel. Great family owned establishment.

Great experience! the staff and were really nice. would recommend others and also book it on my next tour.
