good location, a few minutes from train station. feel peaceful and quite in the room as well as with blue mountain views.

The bed was comfortable, air con great. There was a deep bathtub. Breakfast was good. Continental but better than most. The attendant Michelle was lovely. Its old building with great charm. Its close to town and all amenities. Close to the 3 sisters

Lovely well positioned hotel in an amazing area of the world, it sits right between the three sisters and the town centre. The woman on reception was very nice and welcoming! We had a good nights sleep and will certainly return if in the area again.

Wonderful break in the Blue Mountains. Enjoyed the charm of this beautiful heritage accomodation. Sipping wine on the front veranda or having a cuppa in the formal living room we felt like Royalty. Thanks to Dillon & Jeremy for getting us an accessible bathroom beautiful rooms and Michelle for her excellent attention to detail with the night customer service. The lady serving breakfast was super nice and even got us gluten free bread. If you want a special glamorous place full of old world charm to remember your visit to Katoomba the Palais Royale is your go to. Thanks team we will be back!

This is a quaint, historic hotel with a wonderful restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was top notch. It’s located just down the hill from the bustle of town and an easy walk from the trailheads in the blue mountains. It feels very warm and welcoming when you’re there.

Well located hotel is dated but we had a comfy bed, a fridge and a bath tub. Let down by not being able to connect to wi fi despite trying many times and asking reception to re-boot. Breakfast room is down steep stairs, is cold and unfriendly. Staff scraped tables and chairs around us constantly to prepare for a lunch hours later. Surely it’s time to move past slimy tinned peaches and bitter, tepid jug coffee?

Really well located, only about 15 minutes walk from the station at Katoomba. Close to restaurants and shops and most visitor attractions.
