Spillway far exceeded our expectations! Our family stayed in the Bushwood two-bedroom unit and absolutely loved it. Check-in was seamless—just a heads-up that the entry code doesn’t activate until after 4 PM. The location is ideal: just two blocks from town and a short walk to the river and nearby trail. We appreciated thoughtful touches like the empty growlers left for guests to fill, and the wide range of amenities was fantastic. The kids had a blast with the corn hole and putting green. We also made good use of the available bikes, camping chairs, and even umbrellas for those rainy moments. The fire pits were well-stocked with plenty of wood for cozy evenings. One night, as we sat outside, a whole family of deer wandered through—an unforgettable moment for all of us. Thank you for a lovely and memorable stay!

Spillway Lodges deserves its high ratings It is an unusual concept (keyless entry, no concierge, 4 unit buildings, "resort-light"), with modern spacious rooms/kitchenette/bathroom, comfy bed, thoughtfully appointed. Large shared outdoor patio for upstairs studio rooms. Easy walk into town and to the park across the river. Assistance available through phone number: getting luggage upstairs (note stairs), contacting now closed local restaurant to see if I left my purse there (I did and retrieved it!). Plus, good value for price. Check out the smoked fish place across the bridge! We enjoyed 1 night stay and checking out Bellaire as we passed through the area.

My husband and I stayed for a quick one-night getaway and LOVED everything about Spillway Lodges! Beautiful setting, fantastic accommodations with lots of special touches. Can't wait to go back! Bonus points for the very short walk to Short's!

Beautiful accommodation! Very upscale and much more than I expected. Stayed in an immaculately clean 2 bedroom/2 bath “lodge”. I put that in quotes because it’s so much more. Nice hot tub and outdoor patio areas. We didn’t try the sauna or the cold plunge. Located in Bellaire, a cute little town near beautiful Torch Lake. Keep in mind that the town closes up fairly early during the week.

Avrete camere con vista sul verde dove è facile osservare famiglie di cervi che si aggirano nella boscaglia, consiglio quelle dei piani superiori. Nel resort sono disponibili anche sauna + doccia gelata, vasca idromassaggio, i firepit, caratteristica locale, se volete passare la serata davanti ad un braciere acceso. In poche parole un alloggio rilassante e confortevole dove tornare dopo una giornata di escursioni tra le bellezze naturali del Michigan.
