The stay was wonderful.
Location right infront of Kyoto station & local bus interchange. If you came late from Kansai airport by limousine. the limousine will stop at Kyoto Avanti 3-5min away from this hotel. 
If you join day tour, the pick up point is same at Limousine drop of point. 
Many 7/11 & restaurants around.
The hotel look very new, room & bed was very comfortable and toilet was very clean. Hotel's staff front deck & housekeeping very polite.
The coffee house open for free hot & cool beverages for guests from afternoon till 10pm.
Will sure book this hotel if we visit Kyoto again.

Loved the hotel, service and Kyoto! This is a clean, well-located hotel with great breakfast and free amenities that one needs when on holiday. The front desk staff are very helpful with questions and to organise delivery of luggage if needed. Malls, station and restaurants in walking distance. We even walked to Fushimi Inari, Gion, Nishiki Market and another one near by, although it might be a long walk for some people. Do visit the other side of the station (part of the station) where the Kyoto Tower is, for a pleasant flight of lighted stairs that takes you up for views. A very clean city! The Aeon Mall has great food in the supermarket and food court. VA from NZ

I stayed a total of 6 nights here at this hotel. First 2 nights was with family, the other 4 were as a solo traveler. I booked a single room.  As expected, It was compact but the bed was wide and the bathroom is the same size as a twin and double room.  Compact but totally served my needs for my travels. It had a window and had great natural light and a view of the city. 

Service at the hotel was friendly and helpful and the location can’t be beat. 5 mins away from the train station and subway and plenty of options for restaurants. 7-11 and bus to the airport right outside the hotel.

My last night in Japan, I booked again for 1 more night for a single room. They upgraded me to a twin double room, which was a nice surprised at the end of my stay in Japan. 

The hotel price, location and service was so good. Highly recommend and I will definitely revisit when I go back to Kyoto.

Excellent hotel! Very convenient location, just a couple of minutes' walk from the train station. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The room itself was quite small but very clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and soft, with great pillows.

Location: The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk straight ahead after turning right from Kyoto Station. Getting around is a breeze, with subway and bus stops nearby. Popular Kyoto attractions like Sanjusangendo Temple and Kinkaku-ji Temple are easily accessible by bus. For trips to destinations like Uji and Nara, taking the JR from Kyoto Station is also very convenient.

Cleanliness: Generally satisfactory. Rooms are serviced every two days.

Service: There were no Chinese-speaking staff. Check-in was done using a self-service machine after scanning a provided QR code.

Room/Amenities: The room was spacious enough to comfortably lay out two 28-inch suitcases, which was very convenient for organizing our belongings.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a short walk across a small road from Kyoto Station. Just a heads-up though, there are actually two hotels co-located here. We initially went to the wrong one, which was a bit awkward, but thankfully, a kind staff member from the adjacent hotel showed us to ours.

We booked a room with three one-meter beds, and they were very comfortable.

The hotel room was actually quite spacious. The bathroom featured a 'three-compartment' design, with the toilet in its own separate cubicle. This design is excellent; it perfectly suited one family member's preference for privacy when using the toilet, and it didn't interfere with us washing our faces and hands.

If we ever return to Kyoto, we will definitely choose this hotel again.

I was traveling solo, and the front desk staff kindly upgraded my room from the cheapest standard room I originally booked to a King-sized room. I was thrilled!

The hotel is incredibly close to Kyoto Station; it's practically right outside the exit, which was extremely convenient!

The night view from my room was fantastic. However, the hotel bar, which I believe is called 'Sora' (空), offers a nice view, but the drinks were quite mediocre.

On the day of checkout, an unpleasant incident occurred. I had already set off to explore Kifune Shrine when the hotel informed me that my stored luggage had been mistakenly taken by another guest. I was utterly confused while out sightseeing. Luckily, it turned out to be just a mix-up in the end. However, this incident goes to show that the hotel's concierge team needs to be more meticulous.

Quietly standing in the arms of Bilao Mountain, the Yamano Food Inn has a Kyoto Station pick-up service (about 30 minutes drive) on arrival. The hotel is only 10 minutes drive from Yankee Temple. At 6 o'clock in the morning, the hotel organized a ceremony to the Buddha at Yankee Temple, and there was a shuttle bus to the temple at 9:15. The hotel serves breakfast and dinner. The menu is customized according to seasonal seasons. It is very exquisite. It integrates the food culture of Wuhu and Jinjiang with the French style. You can also taste Shiga local wine. The most intimate service on the departure day is to transport luggage to Kyoto Station for free, so that visitors can easily visit Bibu Mountain and Wuhu.

I stayed in Hotel Keihan Universal Tower for 6 nights.  In 29th afternoon, the staff (of the concierge near the toilet), Fang or Feng, was very helpful.  She told me how to go to World Expo with details.  She also showed me the metro map and station.  However, on Jun 30th 8:30am, my daughter asked a female staff (of the concierge near the toilet) for a piece of A4 paper.  The staff did not know what my daughter saying.  Her English need to be improved.  Later, she told my daughter the paper was not free of charge!  I couldn't believe I spent more than US$1500 for 6 nights of stay but couldn't get a piece of A4 paper for free!!  At last, I asked a male staff in check-in counter and he gave me a piece of A4 paper immediately, without charge!  The room was pretty small.  There was no table for writing, only a small round table without proper writing chair.  The room was very clean.  The air-conditioning was excellent and quiet!  The breakfast was just ok, not delicious enough, could be improved.  The staff English were pretty bad, need to be improved too!!  I think we need a gym too!  At last, the view of the buffet restaurant was fantastic, highly recommend

Extremely satisfied, it was much better than I expected. The room, though compact, was incredibly well-equipped, and I could even fully open my 28-inch suitcase. The lobby on the 2nd floor offers a selection of complimentary self-service drinks and skincare samples. Plus, the hotel is located right above a shopping mall. I stayed in a corner room, and while trams passed by outside the window, the noise wasn't an issue at all. In fact, my child absolutely loved watching them, so it turned out to be perfect.

Located near the station, a good business hotel, everything is there, ideal for basing and exploring the region. Breakfasts are Japanese, delicious. Wi-Fi is good. Ideally located for visiting Kyoto.

The hotel boasts a superb location, directly opposite the Tenmabashi subway station exit. The self-check-in machines at the front desk offer Chinese language support, and staff are readily available to assist. Moreover, the subway station is conveniently located right beneath a shopping mall, making it incredibly easy to find dining and shopping options. The area itself is more residential, so you'll encounter mostly locals, ensuring a more relaxed atmosphere free from overwhelming tourist crowds. Osaka Castle Park is just a ten-minute walk away, and you can even catch a glimpse of the Tenshukaku (main tower) from the hotel.

I left my big luggage in the hotel for a few days so that I could travel to other nearby places more easily.  When I went back to the hotel and checked in, the staff had already put the big luggage in the hotel room for my check in and saved my effort to carry the luggage back to the hotel room. I think this is a very thoughtful service.

Located just a 3-minute walk from Kitahama Station, this hotel offers convenient access to the Ceramic Museum and Umeda. Shinsaibashi is also easily walkable, perfect for a leisurely stroll. As a Keihan brand hotel, it lives up to expectations with new facilities and a harmonious, modern decor. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and the cleanliness was impeccable. There's also a laundry room, which is a significant plus, especially during summer. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande in Tokyo, and it was an outstanding experience. This modern hotel is perfectly situated near the famous Tsukiji Outer Market and within walking distance to the upscale Ginza district.
The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The bathroom was sleek and well-appointed, with a delightful rain showerhead.
The hotel's location is ideal for exploring Tokyo's culinary delights, with plenty of fresh sushi and seafood options nearby. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to the subway makes it easy to access other parts of the city.
Overall, I highly recommend the Hotel Keihan Tsukiji Ginza Grande for its excellent service, comfortable rooms, and prime location.

The room was an end room and not as spacious as it appeared in the photos. Once the sofa bed was unfolded, there was barely any walking space left. However, this is quite understandable given the typical space constraints in Asakusa. On a positive note, the completely separate toilet, washbasin, and shower areas were excellent!

A minor drawback was the lack of bedside power outlets. During my 5-day stay, towels were changed and trash emptied daily, and the bed was made on the third day. However, a significant issue was the dust on the headboard. It clearly hadn't been wiped clean, and I couldn't understand if it was never cleaned or if it had simply accumulated so much dust during my short stay, which was quite puzzling. Furthermore, every night around 10 PM, the air conditioner would emit a smoky smell, which would then dissipate after midnight. The air purifier filter also seemed neglected; when turned on, it emitted an unpleasant odor, and the humidifier's water tank was completely covered in limescale.

I had originally intended to report these issues directly, but when I unintentionally saw a very elderly person doing the cleaning, I didn't have the heart to complain. I hope these points can be addressed and improved upon in the future.

Hotel location at Yotsuya is really central and close to Yotsuya train station (within 7min walk) which is well connected to Shinjuku, Shibuya. There are various eateries and restaurants especially Yotsuya Uoichi (super yummy fresh fish shop!) and there's a family mart near the hotel. The hotel staff were all friendly and really approachable. 

Hotel room was also much spacious compared to typical room size in Tokyo; able to fit 2 large luggages. The only point of consideration is the bathroom door is not opaque but there is a partition wall separating the bathroom and the bed. Additionally, the toilet is separate from the bathroom so it's more convenient. Recommended to stay when in Tokyo!!!
