My partner and I came to stay for a spa break and really enjoyed our stay, but the hotel could benefit from a few tweaks. Pros: - Gorgeous facilities and decor. The restaurants and spa were just fantastic and the ambience was very special - felt very modern Scottish country hotel. - Pricing of the stay and food and drinks were fair and reasonable for quality. Cons: - The temperature in the hotel was very warm, and this meant the rooms were hot and despite air con we couldn’t seem to bring the temperature down enough and it meant we didn’t sleep well. - The pillows on the bed in the rooms were awful - no shape and flat.

Schloss Roxburghe, is one of the nicest hotels i have stay at in the UK. As a frequent guest at 5 star luxury hotels around the world, i was pleasantly supersized by this hotel. Upon arrival you see the very imposing castle, then after i checked in, it felt like i had been transported back to the future when i got to my room in the new extension. how they have combined both old and new just needs to be seen, fabulous. Also the Spa facilities and amazing.

Beautiful hotel, amazing spa, attentive staff, very comfortable beds and well designed rooms. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and will definitely come back. It is a perfect place to relax and unwind. Thank you for making my stay so memorable! :)

Lovely bedrooms, attentive staff. Food good (but check all restaurants are open though when booking to enhance your choice when you stay). To go out to dine elsewhere entails quite a drive in the car

My (grown up) children gave us this special day. A day we will both remember. Hotel staff were excellent. Spacious room with comfy bed had a good view towards the spa pool. Lovely spa and treatments. Delicious afternoon tea and dinner in the relaxed atmosphere bar. Would definitely return.

What a place. Absolutely beautiful setting, above and beyond staff, spa was so relaxing we didn’t want to leave. Hotel room just had everything you needed right to hand. My new favourite place.

We loved everything about our stay, the fact you were able to use the facilities all day upon arrival and departure. The house itself has so much history and character, the rooms are lovely and clean and the food was delicious.

Such a lovely hotel. Fab staff, very knowledgeable. Gorgeous views over golf course from our room. Stunning spa, lovely warm water despite the chill in the air. Delicious food. Only thing wrong was the bar could’ve been a bit more comfy, sofas are very hard and uninviting. Same in drawing room where we had afternoon tea. That said, hotel definitely worth a visit.
