Checking in was an adventure. Needless to say that at some point (45 min after arriving to the property) my wife lost her patience after:
1 our initial codes did not work;
2 when we got a code and accessed the room we found someone already in there;
3 while on the line with customer service rep (who BTW was very nice) we got assigned a 2nd room 404, but only had one twin bed;
4 & 5 we get we try 2 more rooms, both with people inside. At this point I cannot stop laughing historically. Oh I forgot to say, it’s close to midnight by now :)))
Finally I suggest we try a room to a different floor and we finally get one assigned that was empty, looked unused and had two beds. At this point my wife can crack a smile as well after all she wanted at some point was to get our money back and move elsewhere.
Other than that, the room was average. Not the cleanest, but ok, I’ve seen worse. Did not appreciate the used dish sponge. Bed was comfortable to sleep in but linen and pillows are substandard.
No option (or at least not obvious) on turning AC off. Light in bathroom turns off on you and then you need to turn into an Italian (speaking with your hands in the air) for them to come back on (especially when in the shower).
No separate light switch for the sleeping area and the dining area, although otherwise nicely separated by layout.
