The guy at the front desk was very polite and the service was very good. The hotel has a gym and a small swimming pool. There are many eating options around.
The only thing is that I booked it on Ctrip as a Crown Hotel, but before departure I was informed that the name had changed and it was not Crown Hotel at all. This operation of Ctrip is indeed a bit unacceptable and belongs to false propaganda...

This is a bare bones hotel. Minimal restaurant service, no coffee in room or available anywhere on property except limited restaurant hours for $4 per cup self serve. Not much available except a clean bed. And they turned water off for 5 hours. This was posted in tiny notices scattered here and there in hotel

This hotel is older. The decor in the room was outdated but the room was warm, clean and comfortable. We could only get the shower head to work but not the faucet for the bathtub. The airport shuttle is NOT 24/7. We had to pay $15 for a cab to take us to the airport at 5am which we pre-arranged via the front desk staff the night before we departed. It's way more than a 5 min drive to the airport, more like a 10-15 mins depending on the traffic. We had a ground floor room at the front of the hotel and there was some noise from the traffic but it wasn't too bad. Maybe a room to the rear of the hotel would be quieter. The pool was outside (too cold this time of year) and it looked like the hot tub outside had been drained. We didn't eat or drink there so I can't comment on the food or drinks but there is an awesome Pizza/Italian place right next door "The Brick Oven". The gym look nice. The staff we encountered were friendly.

Some key issues but Richardo was very helpful and much more friendlier than the ladies at the front desk who had an attitude. Bathroom needs a fan so it doesn't get hot after the shower, AC didn't really work.

Probably the worst hotel room I’ve stayed at in the last 25 years or so. Not clean; fixture coming out of the wall in the bath; had to call the front desk to figure out how to turn on the TV

With this being me and my wife’s my first time to New Orleans …. I was already on edge about how things would go …. I wanted the whole experience to be phenomenal and thanks to TWO specific employees…. Kaitlin and Ricardo …. They made our stay absolutely awesome from beginning to end ….. I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE going to New Orleans ALSO it’s right next to the Brick Oven Cafe …. Some of the best Italian Food me and my wife have ever had…… perfect spot…. Hotel staff was awesome the room was awesome and clean …. Simply put my whole entire time was 10 out of 10
