The room was clean and spacious, the Thai restaurant was delicious, and everyone was friendly and helpful. The gardens surrounding the hotel were well maintained and beautiful, providing a lot of hiking area, both up the hill and down to the bay. The hotel is in a great location along the Ring of Kerry - highly recommended!

What wonderful place to stay. It is in great location on the Ring of Kerry. We had a lovely Thai meal during our 3 night stay. The breakfast was excellent and served with a friendly smile. The gardens are a wonderland and the whole ongoing project there are a credit to the owners. We'll be back.

Absolutely amazing house and gardens, the location, the food everything was top class. Would 100% go back, a very relaxed and enjoyable weekend. Billy & Penn have done such an amazing job with the property. The beach is right on your doorstep with the sounds of water making it even more relaxing.

Beautiful manor house. Well furnished, lovely breakfast and pleasant welcome. Comfortable temperature even in February. Garden walk is amazing. Dinosaur and seats sculptures are amazing, so creative and imaginative. - we ll be back for sure. A little haven.

The Ring of Kerry has some of the best scenic hideaways Ireland has to offer. The Kells Bay House and Gardens is amongst the best of them. We as a family drove down from Galway visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher and stayed at Kells Bay as a start to our Ring of Kerry Drive. We stayed in a beautifully appointed suit. Two bed rooms and a drawing room with beautiful views of the bay. Dinner was in their Thai restaurant and the food was authentic and excellent. Breakfast had choice of Irish and continental options. The highlight of the stay was the walk through their gardens. The owner is an expert in Ferns and the garden is a tropical paradise. There are plants from all across the world and the thought and love that has gone into the garden leaves one mesmerised. They even have a sky walk - a rope bridge spanning a stream… a highlight for the kids. A must see on the Ring of Kerry. Highly recommend.

This is a very attractive and well appointed hotel with large comfortable rooms. We stayed in the Blennerhasset bedroom with fantastic views down to the sea and over to the Dingle; it is very quiet and there is a nice sitting room for guests. The staff were very pleasant and the food in the Thai restaurant excellent (red curry recommended). The tropical gardens are really quite amazing and well worth taking the time to see. The adjacent beach of Kells Bay is lovely and safe for swimming. A road that goes on past the beach for about a mile and half is a cul-de-sac but virtually traffic free and great for a walk. We watched a hare, a stoat with a vole and a kestrel as well as a variety of small birds and sea birds along the way. There was nothing we did not like!

Visited for the Patrick's day weekend. The first sight is a stunning waterfall and behind the cliff, gardens full of enormous tree ferns. The rooms are elegant and spacious. The restaurant serves Thai food in the evening in a dining room overlooking the bay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable and allow full use of the grounds, and rope bridge as well as private access to the sea.

We had 2 suites, both were lovely. Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms with bathtubs. It was very quiet and we had lovely views of the bay. There is a private walkway for guests down to the beach. Free parking out back. Staff was professional but maybe not the friendliest.

We really enjoyed the gardens. It felt very natural but maintained. Loved the dinosaurs and rope bridge ! I would recommend to anyone. We went first thing and it was quite it was like we had the place to our selves. It was very busy by the time we left. Our dog enjoyed the walk too. Lots of her to see and sniff !
