Patty and David are outstanding hosts for over 30 yrs. When the public laundry wasn’t working, they let us use their personal washing machine.

Staff - Room cleaning staff noisy in halls around 8:30 / 9 am
Room - very clean, modern washroom, no ability to make coffee/tea in room
Parking - great space in back
Booking Direct - should be done as booking via 3rd party site meant no breakfast included.
Location - very good. very near everything but 1 street away from late night noise. very quiet at night.

Easy check in. Rooms were updated with nice walk in showers. Breakfast was great. Staff very friendly & knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Very poor reception - not at all welcoming- he complained about agencies taking a cut and therefore breakfast not being included. Two flights of steep stairs were too much for us with our luggage so left cases in the boot of the car and packed overnight bag. Lots of trips to collect things we needed. Bathroom was good and bed fine but nowhere to sit in the room and a hard floor, so we were conscious of disturbing people under us with our shoes on- we had no slippers so feet were cold.

Patty and all the staff were the best. The room was small but all we needed especially the walk-in shower and heated towel rack. Breakfast was delicious.

This Inn is in a perfect location; walking distance to everything. The choices for breakfast are plentiful; there’s something for everyone. The staff is friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Many thanks to Sharon and Patty for tending to our every request.

We wanted to be close to the downtown, walking. Right in the middle of all the stores and pubs. Easy walk to the marina for our sunset boat trip to the Blasken Islands. The pub on first floor was great fun for a nightcap at the end of the day. Rooms must have been recently renovated because they were lovely, clean, comfortable beds. The breakfast dining rooms were gorgeous. I would definitely stay here again. The owner was awesome and she had a chat with us at breakfast.
