La Curcuma Luxury Homestay

I arrived at midnight (12:00 AM), and they had already arranged a car for my pickup. The rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The next day, our train was delayed by 4 hours, so we decided to take a flight instead. Our flight was at 8 PM, and Mr. Faisal, the owner of the hotel, was incredibly kind and helpful. He allowed us to stay at the hotel, provided a room free of charge, and even arranged a taxi to the airport. His generosity and hospitality truly made our experience special. Highly recommended—this is the best hotel in Khajuraho!

Very nice place. I always recommend it. Beautiful ambience, serene and tranquil. Staff is very familiar and soft spoken, food quality is very good. Rooms are quite big and connected with small garden. Well fitted bathroom. Great value to your money.

My partner & I recently stayed at La Curcuma Homestay in Khajuraho. This place instantly felt like home. The incredible people that look after this place are really the highlight. We were picked up from the airport by their complimentary service & were met by the very charming manger who speaks incredible English among many other languages. Azam makes the most amazing Chai & he is the skills behind your delicious breakfast in the morning. Top tip my partner & I used to order 1x Indian breakfast & 1x omelette & share! Such a good combo! The location is a little out of town but there is a scooter onsite for you to hire. Otherwise we hired one for our week long stay from Madpackers in town. 400 rupiah per day. The pleasant walk to town is around 25 minutes & there are rickshaws ***** the way if you don't fancy walking both ways. There are plenty of great restaurants in town from authentic Indian to more continental just ask for recommendations. Please ask the boys at the homestay for their help their generosity & kindness is something to admire. Golu & Zahib THANK YOU! Our room was big, the bed is so comfortable & we were here during winter, turning to spring & everything was perfect. The boys are also happy to give you many tips about the area and organise trips if you wish. This place for me is an opportunity to experience true local hospitality. Such a wonderful stay and such a wonderful property at Khajuraho... Really overwhelmed with the stay at this amazing property... Although it is a small property with 04 rooms only but the rooms are Nice and spacious, polite staff and on the top comfort at its level best... Kudos to the owner for this awesome property... Keep it up...
