Aphrodite Hills Rentals - Junior Villas

Tasked with finding somewhere peaceful, relaxing (well lazy was the word) and warm for a friend’s 40th birthday, a villa rental at Aphrodite Hills looked to be the perfect fit – and it most definitely was! We booked a two bedroom superior villa (villa 0320) and we couldn’t have chosen better. The villa was superb. None of the photos we’d looked at prior to our arrival did it justice. It was better than we imagined – completely private, spacious, modern, so light and comfortable inside, nicely furnished, spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. The garden was lovely, nicely planted and private, we could even see the sea in the distance from our terrace! But the swimming pool – wow – was bigger than we thought it would be and it was absolute bliss not having to share it with strangers. The gas barbecue was a massive plus and was certainly put to good use, I mean, when one of your party is a barbecue queen what more could you want… dinner al-fresco, delicious wine, good company and the sun going down like a ball of fire. Could someone send me back now please? We even had a small army of cleaners turn up mid-week to clean right through, change bedding, towels etc and a pool attendant who came in twice to check/clean the pool. We were very impressed with such good service. The resort itself is massive – so a car is a must. But again, everything you need is on site, including a supermarket, pharmacy and bakery and a good selection of restaurants in the Village Square. We ate at Pithari, the Greek Cypriot Tavern one evening, which I can highly recommend. Meze is the way to go there, which was superb and so much food I think we literally rolled out at the end of the evening. The service was excellent and it was certainly very good value for money. The service we received throughout the resort was excellent – but I have to give a big shout out to David, part of the concierge team. David was just brilliant and nothing was ever too much trouble. From arranging for birthday balloons to be delivered to the villa prior to our arrival, to arranging a late check out for us for our evening departure back to the UK and all the questions asked and advice given in between, he was only ever a WhatsApp message away. Good customer service is rare these days – but this was customer service at its very best (thank you again for everything David). Will we return? You bet we will!

We stayed in a beautiful three bedroom villa, with a fabulous view from all rooms, the pool and garden. The resort is beautiful, with really good sports facilities, great restaurants and a lovely spa. We eat at all of the restaurants during our holiday and they where all excellent. The staff are all really friendly too. It is a long way from the beach and taxis aren’t cheap so a car is recommended.

We have just returned from Aphrodite Hills. This is a hotel we have visited several times. It’s just fabulous! Excellent staff, food and amenities. Special mention to Camelyia (pool bar) and Roberto and Kate (fitness). We look forward to returning and can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. Thank you for another wonderful holiday!
