I stopped in Killarney for one day & night on my roadtrip around Ireland, and was looking forward to staying at this hotel. My thoughts: Location - like I say, it is A1. Parking - when I arrived, I was told hotel parking was full. I then asked where it was and was told there actually isn't any parking specific for the hotel. Found that strange. Was told to park in the general car park behind the hotel, which annoyed me for 3 reasons: 1) I had to pay. 2) There were no signs as to when I had to pay until. 3) The hotel concierge told me I would have to top-up at 8am the following morning, so that meant having to forego the lay in. Hotel - the pics online are in line. Good atmosphere in the bar. Room - the decor is dated, but it was nice enough. Unfortunately, there was a really irritating sound (like automatic door open and closing) coming from outside ALL night. Hardly slept a wink. Breakfast - I'm easily pleased with an English/Irish Hot breakfast and was pleased.

Great night at Eviston Hotel for an event with two famous snooker players on 2nd January Brilliant and sold out event for a great charity. Hotel was warm and clean. Toilets were maintained. Dannymann was available for drinks Finger food was offered and tasteful Staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly Pleasure to be part of such an event Hopefully something like this again in near future.

Weather was not the nicest for a trip down to Killarney but we are in winter months. Dannymann bar and restaurant was closed went into Eviston Hotel and member of staff with a smile asked how he could help me. I asked was Dannymann bar restaurant opening anymore as was closed. He informed me for these current months only Friday to Sundays from 12noon I was delighted to call back about 1pm for my dinner very tasteful and generous portions Compliments to the chef and thank you to the staff very friendly

We were staying in Killarney for the weekend, we happened to pass by the Danny Mann and saw the lovely menu so we decided to drop in. We had a very pleasant experience from the minute we went in the door and also got to watch the Mayo v Kerry match on the big screen. The atmosphere, the staff, the food, we definitely will be back. Thank you so much it made our weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It used to be a great spot for locals. We've been regular customers for over 5 years and staff and customer service has always been top notch. Consistency in food and attention to detail was second to none. Till so called 'bar manager ' was appointed. This gentleman's ignorance and rudeness are now the selling point. Sorry Pat but we will never be back. Best regards

I had a room booked for the june bank holiday since march. Last week I received an email stating they could no longer accomodate me and my booking was now cancelled. No reason or explanation was provided, so I can only assume the hotel is reselling the room at a higher rate to make more money. I was left to find alternative accommodation last minute for a busy weekend as they wasted so much my time. I would be hestiant to book here in future as I have found in them very unreliable and unapologetic.

Derek and his staff at The Eviston House Hotel were a dream to deal with . Everything we asked was no problem. The food was delicious also. We as a group have dined at Patrick Evistons Hotel on a few occasions and have always had a wonderful experience.

First time visiting Killarney loved it. Walked into Eviston Hotel to ask if they could recommend somewhere for us to get something to eat was greet by a pleasant lady. She walked us through a door to Dannymann who is their sister business and left us in the hands of very welcoming staff members. We were given menu and told of the specials for the day and recommendations were suggested. Fresh fish and chips and cottage pie we ordered both tasty, generous portions great value for money. Definitely would go back when next in Killarney

Hi, I wouldn’t be a one for putting down hotels but my god we’re do I start, first off arriving to hotel was fine room was standard but ok my partner & I went down for dinner to be waiting 45 min to be served our Waiter was so rude she didn’t let us finish our order she walked away. I asked for a cocktail menu . No sign after 30 min so I walked to the bar the response I got off the bar man was “your killing me with cocktails” I hadn’t even ordered one yet, 45 min later got out our food steak was cold and order was wrong. The hotel went on fire that night no ones fault we weren’t offered a alternative just refund. Don’t think I’ll ever return maybe get more welcoming staff for your future.
