Brook Lodge Boutique Hotel

We stayed at the Brook Lodge for three nights in October 2025 and had an excellent experience. The location was perfect - an easy short walk (＜5 minutes) to the main streets with shopping and restaurants, and on a very quiet street. It is a small, boutique hotel so it wasn't overrun with large tour groups when we were there. The entrances to Killarney National Park are close. I went for a nice morning run in he park along the riverwalk footpath and up a side footpath alongside cows grazing in a field (separated by a fence). From the hotel we walked through the park and to Ross Castle in 45 minutes, thanks to the advice of Catherine, the amazing breakfast host and server. Catherine is a wealth of local knowledge, so much that we scrapped our plans to go on a Dingle Peninsula bus tour and stayed in Killarney for the day, exploring Ross Castle, Torc Waterfall, and Muckross House and Gardens via foot and the hop-on/hop-off bus. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom seemed like it was recently remodeled. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. One night we thought (incorrectly) that the heater in our room was broken and the front desk attendant kindly offered to bring us a space heater without hesitation, and then called maintenance to help us troubleshoot (it was our fault for not turning the knob up to 5). We got the breakfast-included rate, which was well worth it. In addition to the cold buffet of fruit, cereals, pastries, juices, it included one hot entree from the breakfast menu. I also appreciated that they had almond and soy options for non-dairy milk. Overall, great hotel. Highly recommend!

We had a great 2-day stay at Brook Lodge Boutique Hotel. Our room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and clean. The bathroom has obviously been redone recently - modern & luxurious. Breakfast was very good with a continental buffet as well as ordered hot meals. The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. They have their own parking lot. The location was great, with lots of restaurants and shops within safe walking distance. We woulddefinitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel is fabulous and the location is amazing. The receptionists are very friendly and very helpful. The restaurant provides a wonderful breakfast and the waitress Catherine is brilliant very friendly and a very warm person.

We booked three nights at the hotel to celebrate an 80th birthday and the staff pulled out all the stops to make it an enjoyable and memorable one.First of all we had a champagne breakfast followed later with flowers and a birthday cake. The staff were lovely especially Adriana and Grainne . A big thank you to all and to Dan for his kindness (up Cork) I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff is soooo sweet and nice. Rooms were so huge, hard to find such spacious rooms now. Everything well managed.

Big room. Good parking area . We are always looking for original retro accommodations and this is it. Hotel itself is attraction. Definitely coming back on our next trip!
