A-Frame Chalets @ Mokutu

I totally agree with Wilhelmina S and her review. I had the same experience with the accommodation being confused. The cottage which I was relocated proved in need of a good make-over. The mould was a health concern as I had to seek medical advise. The outside had old timber, and junk left in eyesight. The beauty of Norfolk did not disappoint me at all, however the accommodation did!

My daughter Joanne and myself Carol stayed 7 days excellent accommodation, Shelly our host was a delight, excellent cabin so clean. Have recommended it to a lot of friends. Thank you Shelly for being a great host. Carol & Joanne.

Basic, dated and run down. Rooms smell musty. Booked an A frame but were told on arrival, 'Oh no, thats just part of the name, you have the studio and the A frames are all booked out",Well the studio is way past its best by, closer to being the Bates Motel. A couple arrived next door to us 2 days later and had the same experience, sure they had booked an A frame only to be told, that would have cost them more, so they were not impressed either. No privacy from other guests which walk directly past the lounge and bedroom unless you pull the blockout curtains. Noise filters through the walls and floor from rooms under. If I'd been able to find alternative accomodation and get a refund, would definitely have gone elsewhere. 3rd visit to Norfolk. Last stay was at another property, much superior but not much more expensive. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Do yourself a favour and stay elsewhere. The photos on the advert are not a true reflection of the property. Depressing place, needs a major update.

Booked an AFrame appartment . Was given a 2 bedroom unit . Property needs an update and photos of property are old as there is no view due to the trees that have grown.

Comparable if not better than other budget accommodation on we saw on the Island. Very well fitted out with plenty of kitchen items, towels etc. Ideal for self catering holiday. Neat but older well maintained pool which also had a really nice bbq kitchen A little bit out of the Burnt Pine area but when driving around the Island a lot more were moe isolated. Troy and his mother who own the place are really nice people to deal with. Only downside to Norfolk is the absolute expensive cost of groceries (due to everything being sea or air freighted in) and lack of fruit and vegies.

I loved every second of my stay. Heartbroken to leave. I will return to the same accommodation. Thanks Sherrie, for the birthday gift.
