Chalet-style site, our chalet was "Superior" and had clean tidy rooms, good shower and aircon with separate bedroom, shower, and kitchen/diner. Cooker, kettle, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, but no laundry in room. Really nice sandy site, with noisy but beautiful cockatoos outside our chalet at 5am!

Seriously this park couldn’t care less about the paying customers or their health. Smoking is encouraged with the feral community allowed to puff away within a few feet of others vans. And the toilets , they don’t flush and you need to navigate your way through the previous unwashed croppers business. The sewerage stench by the pool encourages you to go home. Shame as the park is generally good and the ground man are top blokes.

Stayed at Kinka Beach for two nights late August early September 2023. The staff behind the counter were great with information regarding local tours.
The cabin we stayed in, was immaculately, cleaned and a credit to the cleaner. I have never stayed in a cleaner unit.
The park was great in keeping us informed of events that were to occur around the park during the day.
Overall great stay and cannot complain about anything.

The same old story with all your parks. You want to charge an absolute fortune and ya supply rubbish outdated accommodation. Fair is fair, $285. Air cons filthy, don't even have fins left on them, toilet seat from 1955, sliding glass doors no wheels just steel on steel, paint peeling of walls, algae growing everywhere, lights, fans filthy and as old as my grandmother. Hate to whinge but spend sum money and maintain ya park instead of take, take, take. It takes 2min and cost $9 FOR A TOILET SEAT???? 1 bloke just drove around and cleaned a cpl BBQ,s, get a blower and clean the place up, just laziness. We used to enjoy this park but never again, just like most people we have spoke 2. If you think this air conditioner is 1 HYGENIC or 2 acceptable for $285 a night yas need to wipe the sleep out ya eyes.

The place is to crowded and sewerage stench hangs in the air all night. Absolutely disgusting and impossible to sleep in that smell. Noisy school group with screaming kids till late. Caravan site is small and to many vicious dogs snarling at you as you go past. Most washing machines are out of order. Way to expensive and not worth the money. Left early, no refunds, no apologies for their stinking sewage causing people to gag. Not recommended!

Ensuite powered site was on deep sand. No slab or lawn. A Bit messy...ensuite was nice. Shower noisy. Byo loo paper. Theirs is average. Good location for marina tour. Nice water park...and nice pool. Firepit near our site attracted loud tipsy 75 year olds who chatted until 10pm.

Unfortunately, having booked a two week stay, we were unable to stay the second week due to serious health issues and the need to return home asap. The staff advised refunds were not possible, a credit only could be issued and then only for Discovery Parks, not G’Day Parks. Given we are in our late 70’s, the health issue we are now dealing with, not having anyone else to pass this credit to and the likelihood travel will not be a possibility in the future, I requested a refund be made on compassionate grounds. The answer was “no”! Really?? Wow, we’re not about to spread recommendations for this place.

Very well presented property, nice facilities, right next to yeppoon coastline. Cabin had older style fittings, but it was spotless and comfortable.
