Echor - the Alpine Crest

I have come with a high expectations but found it to be a very low key property..bathrooms are worst, kitchen is smelling, for the price it is not up to Mark.we we're about to stay here for two nights but then moved to shimla.bed linen and towels are in dirty condition.

I had booked a room for me and my family on 1st June. Hotel had a wonderful deck to have a look at the Kinnaur Kailash Mountain BUT hotel was not good on any other parameters. 1. My younger daughter was playing a small ball in the room and accidentally the ball went underneath the bed when I bent down to get the ball I WAS SHOCKED to see that it had Chip's empty packets, Empty Plastic Bottles, a lot of dust and insects beneath the bed. 2. At night I asked for Blanket for the extra bed that I took and they gave me a blanket which was stinking so I gave it back and asked for another one which they replaced it with another Stinky and Torn Blanket. I again asked them to replace it and few minutes later the person came back with the same blanket sprayed with perfume. 3. TVs were not working and when asked they simply said IT WON'T WORK. While sitting on the bed we could feel the dust on the bed's head that we had to clean it ourselves because they didn't respond to the dust on the furniture. 4. The towels that they provided were not only stinking but had stains on it too.... when I asked them to replace they said you use this one because all Towels are the same in the hotel. We just checked out of the Hotel without having bath. I had booked the hotel because it had a brand name Echor attached to it because Echor has another good hotel in Narkanda in Kinnaur Valley but after our stay I will never recommend Echor to anyone.

The hotel boasts of the best view of the Kinnaur Kailash range and its worth the money. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped, the food is absolutely delicious and special mention to Chef Thapa for creating mouthwatering Jain dishes on our special de***d. The staff is courteous. However, there are some minor drawbacks which can be taken care of without much ado. The service is a bit lax which can be made more prompt. The bathroom of the cottage requires a bit of maintenance which can also be looked into. The hotel does not have proper parking facilities and driver accommodation which also is something that needs to be added sooner. Overall a nice memorable stay. Great work by Lalit and his team and looking forward to improved service on next visit.

Tarrif 2500 Room was next to reception and I could hear even the footsteps of other visitors whole night Some guests were screaming in the middle of the night and staff was unable to control them..i couldn't sleep for a single minute No heater No kettle No view More than 10 hotels nearby which are cheaper and 10 times better than this one Prefer homestays Really disappointed...ruined our whole trip

aftre long search i choose this hotel and it was the best hotel owner and entire staff of hotel was very polite to us as we were senior citizens the cottage rooms has best view of snow cap mountains if you are lucy you can see kinnour kailas early morning the food was yummy will like to visit again

Full marks goes to its location. From terrace as well as from room you can see Kinner Kailash range of greater Himalayas. Room which we got is quite spacious and clean. Bathroom equipped with hot and cold water plus for our surprise a bathtub. We had breakfast and dinner. Only limited option but tasty. ***ager Lalit was polite and other staff also well ***nered.

Rooms and food both were awesome only goofed up was made instead of two premium room, we were alloted one premium and one standard room. So just double check on this rest rooms , view and food is just superb.

We stayed there for one night.. In the family room, costed us 5k (including brkfast) for 5 people.. There is a monastery in the Rogi village,at a walking distance from the hotel, a must visit preferably at 7am. Explore the village and the VIEW. Honestly speaking, I never had such a mesmerizing view from my room anywhere.. It is located in the best place, every penny is worth it..Nothing else to see as a side scene!! Just sit in the terrace and fall in love with the kinnaur view... Tip- try to reach there early, sunset is amazing there, the entire range is crystal clear whereas the sunrise is just against the kailash peak, so the range is completely shadowed.. Food is also nice.. Special thanks to Lalit Ji, for being an amazing host...

Nice view of mountains from balcony, enjoyed snowfall , good service, rooms are spacious, food is tasty, and good location in the mid of mountains. Its was a memorable trip in our life feels like heaven
