This was a nice B&B within walking distance of downtown Kinsale. The owner is a very nice lady who is very accommodating and will happily make recommendations on whatever it is you are looking for. Breakfast was good and hot. The rooms were clean. There was ample parking. The owner let us leave our cars there for most of the day after we checked out. We much appreciated that.

We had a wonderful stay at Blindgate House. Mauve Crowley, the owner, runs a clean and very comfortable hotel. The rooms are large and nicely decorated. Breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious. Blindgate House is a nice walk into town. We highly recommend Blindgate House to anyone visiting the lovely town of Kinsale.

Our stay at Blind Gate was very relaxing and comfortable. After Dublin we welcomed the hospitality that Maeve and her staff offered us. The room was perfect for our needs and the breakfast was outstanding. Get the cheese omelet and fresh squeezed OJ. Off street parking a bonus and shot walk or drive into town.

What a welcoming place to stay. Lovely house offering great rooms, outdoor garden and seating plus freshly made breakfasts and breads every morning. Rooms cleaned everyday and hosts friendly and helpful. Such a great spot with everything within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay at Blindgate House during our stay in Kinsale. The location is away from the city center by about a 5 minute walk — downhill to town and a decent uphill hike back to the guest house. The room (#11) was a nice sized room with a good sized en-suite. All was fresh. There were hot breakfast options as well as fresh fruit and meat and cheese options. The staff we interacted with were all pleasant. We would stay there on a return to Kinsale.

My son and I stayed here and really liked it. The space was very clean and full of charm. The location was amazing, and everything was within walking distance. We had a car and had no problem parking, which was a miracle considering how the rest of the town was for parking. Once we parked we didn't need the car again while we were there. The kitchen was great to use as well.

An outstanding experience. Lovely hotel, super friendly staff, great location. We would highly recommend it and would be back again. The rooms are amazing and the food was also amazing. Thankyou to the manager and her team who made us so welcome.

Blindgate House is terrific. Just back from 4 days playing golf nearby with friends. Maeve and team are wonderfully attentive and helpful, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet and well appointed, the car parking is immediately adjacent and plentiful, and the breakfast perfect. No faults apparent to me.

Nice quiet location, walkable to town. Onsite parking which is a relief if you have ever driven in Kinsale. Maeve your host is superb - she does it all and has been here for 34 years. Breakfasts are just right. Beds are a little too soft for my liking but we still slept well.
