A pretty good hotel room fit for a solo traveller. It has the amenities that you will need. The staff lets you check the bags in before check-in

Advantages: Convenient, fast check in & check out
Disadvantages: Never book the smoking room if you don’t smoke. The smell was insane. I wonder if they cleaned the room. Everything was full of the smell. I opened the window and turned on the air purifier for the whole day and it still stink. I even found dust on my bed! I stayed in other hotels’ smoking rooms before and they were all clean. I don’t know what happened but my nose is so uncomfortable, still. Besides, they don’t have any skincare products provided.

My main purpose for this trip was to see the Tsuiki Air Show, so I casually booked this hotel next to the JR station. It was very convenient for getting around, the room had good soundproofing, and the front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful. I was very satisfied.

I stayed at the same hotel for two nights. The double room was too noisy, so I switched to a single room. The single room wasn't facing the train station, so I barely heard the trains passing by, which was a relief. However, there were no disposable slippers in the room.

Stayed at Hotel Livemax Kokura Ekimae and loved how convenient it was — right next to the train station yet surprisingly quiet. The room has all the basic amenities you need, plus a microwave and kettle in the room which was super handy. Room size is just right for travelers with a small cabin luggage, clean and functional. Perfect for a short stay in Kokura!

Check in must be exactly after 3pm, not even a minute early. Everything is transactional and impersonal such as not responsible for your luggage left at hotel after checked out. Although human receptionists are there but only direct guests to use machines to check in and out

Hotel is very close to the kokura station. Very accessible and close to shopping area. Will definitely stay again due to low price and good location.
