Traditional lappish cabin, built in 1993, located in Ylläsjärvi village's Ahvenkangas area for those who seek peace and quiet on their holiday. The ground floor has one bedroom with a double bed. There are two bed sofas in the living room area. Kitchen and sauna with wood-burning stove. Loft has steep stairs and three mattresses. The closest official starting point of the ski trails is at Ylläsjärvi village, but a couple of kilometers away, the trail goes across Ahvenkangas. Barbecue hut is in the yard.

Suvantovirta is situated on the banks of the fishy Ounas River, the most common catches are grayling and trout. Fishing permits and where to buy them can be found at www.ounasjoki.fi. Ball barbecue for use. Water in the tap contains iron, which causes smell and taste into the water. However, it's examined and potable. Wlan. In winter the nearest groomed ski trail is about 3 km from Särestöniemi. From there you can reach to Ylläs and Levi's skiing tracks. There is a connecting track from Suvantovirta to Särestö from week 8, if the snow conditions allow it. There is direct access to the tracks from the cabin yard. The snowmobile track is 1 km along the road (50 m to the ice on the river, where you can also go sledging). Toilets, laundry room, saunas renovated, windows, front door and floors replaced in May-June 2021. New sofa and 43" Smart TV replaced in autumn 2024.
