I had the opportunity to stay at The Greens Guest House, and it was an absolutely lovely experience—made even better by the "perfect" winter weather during our anniversary weekend. As an experienced travel consultant, I always pay close attention to detail, and I was genuinely impressed. The service was warm and attentive, and we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. We also had the pleasure of meeting a lovely lady and her husband who were incredibly kind and generous—it really added to the welcoming atmosphere of the place. The Greens is the perfect escape for anyone looking to relax. The peaceful surroundings, private setting, and overall sense of calm were exactly what my husband and I needed. I would absolutely recommend The Greens Guest House to anyone in need of a quiet, rejuvenating break, and I’ll certainly be recommending it to my clients as well.

This was my third stay at The Greens Guesthouse, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The location is ideal – perfectly positioned near the golf course, Knysna Heads, and Leisure Isle. We appreciated the early check-in, which was granted without any fuss. The rooms are a nice touch for golf lovers. Each is named after golfing terms like Par, Birdie, and Bogey—a unique and playful detail. The guesthouse is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a reliable choice when visiting Knysna. The only downside was the breakfast. While it was included in the rate, it felt sparse and lacked variety. A few improvements in that area would elevate the overall experience even more. All in all, an excellent place to stay – and I’ll likely be back again.

We were greeted by a young lady at the reception who took care of all our requests. Diner, early departure inclusive breakfast boxes, etcetera, etcetera. Food was great!

Nice and clean and modern Manager was absolutely amazing, very helpful and accommodating Well situated in Knysna Would have liked to stay on extra time, unfortunately we had to move on Definately would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation

Our stay was very good. The rooms are very comfortable, I had a great night's sleep. The guest house space is engaging, cozy and well decorated. Family environment. My congratulations. We will defenetely be back.

As a party of 16 we stayed at the greens as our base for our first South African trip. What can I say about the greens in one word it was magic. from arrival to departure the 14 days and nights we were so well looked after Stephen and Joyce took care of us all early breakfasts on the golf days kept the place spotless clean our things washed ironed you name it nothing was any trouble. The accomodation was spacious spotless and well maintained modern property and very safe and secure. I am sure I speak for the whole group when I say we will return some day many thanks for making our holiday a great memory.

Cannot fault this guest house, from the moment we arrived to the morning we left. Staff were great and helpful, food was top class and the accomodaion was faultless. We will be staying again in the near futore.

In terms of location this was perfect. The Manager at the guest house was very accommodating. Towels in the bath were dap, suggestion would be to have heated towel rails or in invest in a tumble dryer. Also the the lounge / tv area is very cold. You should consider having mobile gas heaters for this area.
