Premier Resort the Moorings, Knysna

Dreadful. House keeping shocking. Beds uncomfortable and worst of all when loadshedding kicks in for two hours the noisiest generator kicks in right by the rooms. Last night from 8-10 and then 2-4 in the morning. Zero sleep. What about the families with young kids. Breakfast very poor. Service acceptable but warm beers are not.

Your manager, Gary, shouldn't be a manager. He was rude and very unhelpful, and became quite belligerent when I asked him about an extension cable. Your hotel smells like sewage, which was like that for a number of days. Your maintenance happened at 8 a.m. in the morning while I was still sleeping. You charged R110 for a salad. Your barmen, when asked to make a strawberry daiquiri, didn't know how. Your breakfast served old food EVERY SINGLE MORNING and when I questioned it nothing was done about it and it was stimply apoligies and nothing changed. This stay at your hotel was terrible, and I WILL NEVER go back This was a waste of R22 000.00

Fantastic ..the roo.s and chalets are tremendous and well appointed and located. Superior by miles to the Premier hotel in Cape Town. .really great hotel and service here is great . Good breakfast and the pool is magic .

Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Plenty of wardrobe space, good shower and comfortable bed. We stayed 2 nights as part of an escorted tour holiday. Good choice at breakfast, cereals, bacon etc and omelettes and eggs cooked on request. Gluten free bread available but you have to ask for it. (I am coeliac, plenty of gluten free options for breakfast). Knyana waterfront is a 5 to 10 min drive. We got a taxi there, 120 rand there and 70 rand back?? Some of the other people on our tour paid 160 rand each way?? There is an Italian restaurant in the grounds, we didn't eat there but those who did, enjoyed their food. Definitely a good place to stay when visiting Knysna.

The Premier Resort At The Moorings is a very modern and upscale hotel in Knysna. What made our stay special is that we got upgraded to a suite. Never quite sure why, but who is complaining. Our suite, 205, included a very nice combo living room and full kitchen in one room and the bedroom in another. Both rooms were very comfortable. Our suite also had a balcony that looked over the ocean. Everything about the suite was excellent. Our dinner was buffet in their dining room. Lots of local flavors which my wife liked a lot more than me. Breakfast again was served buffet style which was very good. I would highly recommend staying here while in Knysna.

As part of our Gate 1 tour we stayed 2 nights . The rooms are spacious, clean . The beds were comfortable and pillows were fluffy. We faced the water, the sunset was wonderful. Our dinner and breakfast was delicious.

What can I say - this hotel/resort is just beautiful - the location is breathtaking, the premises are immaculate, and the rooms are comfortable and modern! The food is good, and the staff is excellent! The reception desk, Wayne, the Exec Chef, F&B Manager, and the Pool / Restaurant Manager- Santo (the pool at the lagoon), are exceptional and professional and give MAJOR credit to this establishment. We are fussy when it comes to holiday accommodation. We have been let down time after time when seeing accommodations and premises online, and on arrival, it’s just 100 % photoshopped and not a true reflection of the establishment! At The Moorings - the photos on the website do this establishment no justice - it is way more beautiful than what you see online. Our stay has been more than a week-long, and we feel like family here, and we DO NOT want to leave! A real gem - hard to find a resort with two beautiful swimming areas, a Lagoon, beautiful forest-like grounds, three restaurants, a kids club, beautiful bars, and cocktails! Affordable and an absolute pleasure to have spent our annual holiday here! We have already booked for Easter 2023! Well done to the Hotel - 95% of the staff are exceptional, including the groundskeepers and security! We felt 100 % safe! We would HIGHLY recommend this establishment to families, couples, or corporate

I 😍 Hotel Very comfortable rooms, spacious and big A big complex and friendly staff The breakfast was good and service was excellent. A special mention is to be made to the Italian restaurant. The pizza was delicious and nasty was made very comfortable.

Quiet and spaceious rooms, parking nearby. Heating in the livingroom was not so working well, but that is ok. They quickley arranged our rooms to be ready, good service… Friendley staff
