We stayed 2 nights on part of a cycle tour. The setting was great for us as we had access to the shops. No view of the ocean/ lagoon . The rooms are comfy and nicely decorated. The food was great and staff very helpful. Honesty bar works well. Recommended for overnighters for sure

We enjoyed the stay, the Receptionist and the Staff were incredibly warm and kind and helpful... Since we were new to Knysna the area looked a bit busy and unsafe at first. The wifi was not too Strong and the shower was tiny but overall stay was amazing. Great breakfast as well

Hotel was spotlessly clean,central,very safe and very good breakfast.Hotel is a 2minute walk to the mall and a 10 minutes walk to the waterfront for restaurants and harbour cruises.The locals are friendly and helpful.

an unplanned Journey , a tight budget , limited ideas, However the warm welcome from the manageress , friendly and helpful manner immediately we decided this is the WAY . The night manager was just as friendly and nice , good food , good people and definitely a great stay on such a short noticed .

This is a beautiful little hotel in a lovely setting. Service was excellent, decor was arty and stunning. Rooms were really comfortable and a delight to stay in. Will definitely stay longer next time. Highly recommend!

Very well located. Clean and well appointed with great staff and service. A must stay for anyone visiting this beautiful part of the country. Comfortable bed and great breakfast. Parking available. A bit difficult to find at night but we’ll worth it.

Melissa and her team are always welcoming and professional to our international visitors that overnight at the Wayside Inn. We are very grateful for the fantastic service offered by the friendly staff and the location is perfectly situated. And of course security and a night manager adds to the safety aspect.

This was a vacation stay, my very first time in Knysna. The staff is so friendly, Melissa was accommodating and was efficient in making our stay comfortable. The rooms were clean and the hot showers were amazing. The supply of bottled water was much appreciated! I enjoyed my stay and will be back!
