One of the best getaways we've ever had. What an awesome setting. The movie Avatar comes to mind. Everything is laid on - only need to bring your food and toothbrush. We woke up to find two louries outside, with their tufted heads. Then did an hour's sheltered forest walk before it got too hot. Well maintained pathways and clearly signposted. Next day, down to the rock pool. Another beautiful and peaceful setting. It's a must. But be warned, it's very steep so coming back up will test your fitness level. Private sandy beach. Fresh river water pool overlooked by a wall of trees and a series of caves. Stunning. Back on deck the Loerie came to check if there were any crumbs lying around and happy to pose for photos. We'll be back.

A wonderful sanctuary in the trees. A fun and different experience. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommended it as part of a Garden Route tour.

Waited a long time to come back here and it was worth it. The website makes it very clear what you can expect at TTs, so if that sounds like you then you won't regret coming here. You get to sit outside, overlooking the valley and forest, and very likely get a visit from the birdlife (please don't feed them). Comfortable accommodation, great little kitchen and braai on the balcony. The area is stunning, we explored local forests and also walked down to the river (a little challenging, but fun), super place for a getaway.

What a lovely place this is. We stayed in the Lourie cabin, a charming wood structure with a private sunken deck overlooking the forest, a romantic bath with windows also facing the forest, a very comfy bed with a mosquito and towels cunningly folded to resemble swans, and a nice little kitchen. The walk to the rock pools through lush forest is steep but short and well worth the effort. Overall, it was perfect.

Serene well equipped accommodation in the forest. Close proximity to Knysna and Wilderness etc but lovely to just stay there and relax. We stayed in the Delux tent and would happily go back for another visit. Very friendly helpful staff as well.

Really friendly people and very peaceful and tranquil spot in the forest. We saw the Knysna Loerie several times (stayed in Forest Elders). Had a long of very cool insects visitors but not even one rain spider (lucky for my wife hahaha)

Teniqua Treetops was recommended to us by a colleague and we were so happy with our stay! The place is gorgeous, we saw lots of interesting birds, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the treetop house had everything we needed. I had one of the most relaxing showers of my life looking out into the trees and over the mountains. We ordered some food from them and everything was very fresh and delicious. The portions were large too! Overall, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend this place to others.

We spent four amazing nights in Moon over Milkwood and wished we could stay longer. If you are worrying a bit over privacy, don't be. It's quiet, you do not get bothered by other visitors or staff. The swimming pool is sparkly clean and wonderful to jump in after a walk to the river. Beatrice at reception is great at welcoming and helping guests with a charming personality. All in all, we would like to visit again, thank you very much for a lovely stay.
