Seavana Koh Mak Beach Resort

Do not hesitate to book Seavana. Location, staff, food is 10/10. If you can afford to treat yourself, stay in the beach front suites, they are a little dated but adds to the charm- don’t worry the aircon still works well. The roof terrace is perfect for watching the sunset too. Lovely quiet ***** of beach, right opposite Koh Kham which is an absolute must. Use the hotel kayaks to go there, only takes 20minutes. Pool is big and cold, unlike the sea which gets pretty hot. Food here is great- sushi from the Seavana pool bar is a must (comes from 12Bar Koh Mak up the road). Daybeds Restaurant for dinner has a really good menu - ate here 2/3 nights. Breakfast is cooked to order and has a great selection. Staff are really helpful and very accommodating. Always on hand to help. I’d recommend renting a bike or golf cart to get around the island - Koh Mak is very quiet and the roads are not busy. Perfect if you aren’t very confident riding a moped. Just book Seavana if you are staying on Koh Mak. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Everything was perfect 👌 extremely genuine friendly and attentive staff. Beautiful very large beachfront bungalows, the toiletries smelt amazing, buggy hire available at a reasonable cost. Breakfast was amazing, as was all of the food in the restaurant. I wish we had booked for longer 😪 Would definitely recommend this amazing hotel.

We spend almost a week at fantastic seavana Beach resort at koh mak . An absolutely fantastic experience . The staff at the hotel is so caring and helpfull. 5 Big Stars ! Fantastic Food and koh mak’s absolutely best Beach . We rented an Electric car and drove the Whole Island arround to see the other resorts and they were absolutely nothing compared to seavana. When we are comming back to koh mak it will be at seavana again !

The service from the pick up off the boat to check in was fantastic. There was a lovely welcome drink on arrival and check in was quick and efficient. The room was huge with windows all around to allow for a panoramic sea view. The bathroom was also very big with a bench to allow you to sit and dry off. The shampoo provided was coconut and the shower gel had a definite spa smell, which left my skin feeling soft. The addition of a very large terrace which could be accesses from the bedroom or balcony was well thought out. There were 2 loungers and an out door spa tub. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. We had dinner there one evening which was lovely, but slightly more expensive than the local places. We rented a golf buggy which enabled us to see the island. It cost £25 for 24hrs. As the island is only small 24hrs is enough to get around. The pool area was clean and you overlooked the sea. The grounds had a jungle style in keeping with the hotel, but I did feel they were in need of some attention. Also the paths from reception to the restaurant could do with some maintenance. Would I return? ABSOLUTELY, but I would stay longer.

We stayed with the whole family for 5 days in mid-October, and we chose the best accommodations two Seavana Suite Beachfront. The view directly on the sea is enchanting relaxing, the very bright rooms have a terrace to enjoy the sunset and the sound of the sea. The spaces are large enough and overall they would need to be a little updated especially in the bathroom and outdoor tub. The beach is kept clean and tidy and the sea with its colors is always very beautiful, a little bit of coral residue so if you have sea shoes it would be better. The swimming pool is beautiful where you can enjoy a fantastic sunset sipping a cocktail. The choice of restaurants is quite varied both for dinner and lunch as well as for breakfast, partly buffet and partly à la carte. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Organize yourself with mosquito spray (also available at the resort) because they are a little annoying. Kayaks are available that allow you to reach the private island in front of the beach. We had bicycles with us but it is possible to rent motorbykes, bicycles or golfcars which are very practical since the island is small and it is possible to reach other enchanting views and beaches. Recommended for those who want to spend a few days relaxing enjoying the sea, organizing boat excursions or even better diving

What a wonderful retreat in Thailand. Seavana Beach Resort is located on Koh Mak and is the perfect spot to chill and have a great time. We had a superior Seaview Room and the location is great directly at the beach. The view when opening the shades in the morning is stunning. The room is big spacious, clean and feature a great rainshower. Breakfast is included and at the hotel you can also have dinner. The pool is clean and in infinity Style. Next to the pool is a japanese bar where you can get sushi which was also delicious. You can rent kajaks for free and also get motorbikes or cycles for a small fee at the resort to explore the island
