The resort is in a really lovely setting. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. A couple of issues, it would be nice if they had more vegetarian food at the restaurant. And the portion sizes were small. There is only one other restaurant in walking distance from the resort. It would been nice if they had a general store that sold snacks and toiletries instead of high-end spa prices.

Beautiful set hotel with nice facilities and romantic jungle bungalows. Rather isolated location. Public facilities were nice and clean and staff friendly discrete and helpful. Restaurant was beautifully located and served excellent food. Everywhere you go you'll discover new amazing spots and natural treasures or meet all kinds of wildlife. You can take tbousands of fotos. Stunning views. Bungalows are nice and romantic on first sight but not clean when you take a closer look. Dust, dirt, cobwebs and all kinds of insects around. But hey you're in the jungle. Only real bad thing was the musty smell of beds, aircon and pillows. Wasn t an invitation to sleep in such beds. One day no housekeeping at all. Hotel overcharges on transportation. Get it cheaper from outside the hotel area.

A beautiful property, with really gorgeous spacious rooms, huge super comfy beds and lovely details. The pool is also exceptional, clean, large, well maintained and with the most incredible view. The hotel also has a fitness room, which wasn’t advertised but a massive plus.
A couple of small points though - the ‘forest pool’ isn’t really maintained at all and could do with a bit of tlc. However it’s not near the main pool so doesn’t affect that at all.
The food is predominantly western and overpriced. At breakfast the only Thai offerings were stir fries, whereas I would have much more enjoyed traditional food.
That said these are only small points and we loved our stay.

The best hotel on our Thailand trip. As soon as we arrived we were fascinated by the beautiful view. The reception was very friendly and you immediately felt welcome. The rooms are all in their own bungalows, lovingly furnished, very clean and with a huge terrace. The bungalows are located directly in the jungle, with a great view straight from the bed. There are 2 pools. The smaller one is getting quite old and is only used by a few holidaymakers. The main pool with pool bar and directly adjacent to the restaurant is awesome! Another unique view! The hotel staff are very accommodating, especially Ochi at the reception.
The food in the hotel is good, as usual but a little more expensive than outside. After a short walk towards the main street you will find a great restaurant with a very good price-performance ratio. The breakfast is very good. There isn't too much to see on the island. Scooters can be rented right on the main street. Also scooters with sidecars. There is hardly anything going on on the streets, so even unsure drivers can get along well here. The hotel is located directly on the beach, but rather unsuitable for swimming because it feels like the tide is always low.
We extended our stay from 3 to 6 days because we loved the Ko Yao Yai Village.
