Nice hotel in an old colonial era building. We had a decent room on the top floor, with nice light and beautiful stained glass. Though I think it was very overpriced for the location and quality of the room. The mattress smelled strongly of cat urine, and it felt very moldy and needing better cleaning in the room. While it's very central, this is a bit of a bad thing as it's on the busiest streets in town and really didn't add to the atmosphere. I think there are many better hotels nearby, in similar style buildings, that would be worth the money. While the hotel does have a pool, it generally felt a bit stuffy. On the other hand, the hotel staff and reception were very helpful, and they were very nice to accommodate our needs for arrival and departure. If only in Fort Kochi for a night, it could be a good option if in a hurry to find something.
