We had a fantastic stay at Coorg Wilderness Resort. We only found out about it because Taj Medikeri had no vacancy and boy are we glad they didn’t! We were initially sceptical about the no AC situation and thought it might be too hot but we were pleasantly surprised! The property is beautiful, the staff are excellent, super friendly and they looked after us really well especially as we were travelling with our wee little 4 month old. The resort organises a few activities through the day like nature walk, sunset walk, bird watching etc. They have excellent in-house coffee. The breakfast spread is really good too with a beautiful view of the mountains. The infinity pool is gorgeous. There are a few things to do around like a waterfall about half hour drive each way and an elephant camp about 2 hours drive each way if you feel the need to venture out. Highly recommend this as a getaway amongst the hills.

The place is very nice,good food,staffs are all cooperative and helpful,buggy service is good.Memorable experience and nice place to stay.Birds viewing, swimming pool,sunset and sunrise are all good place to see.Room is spacious and clean.

Very nice and courteous team through out Resort starting with buggy drivers to house keeping staff to hospitality team to Restaurant staff to front desk staff. Some deserve special mention.. Nidhin, Elna, Sisura. Altogether a fantastic experience for three full days. Resort is a top class one, with every thing has been taker care minutely.

I have few words to express about the staff and property. Simply beyond Excellence. Thank every staff from the Entrance, House keeping, restaurant, reception and lobby, maintenance who have a smile and give you warmth when we meet them. No complaints at all with anything. Room Tips: suggest to go for any Hill View room (Room 222 is good). All rooms are super spacious with massive bath areas!!! Love that. They have a lovely Nikaay Spa which I will visit today and continue my review. If you plan a visit to Madeikeri look no where (not even Taj or Tamara). This place beats all in Hospitality, Service, Food and Stay. Makes you feel Royal. The room view is stunning in Hill view rooms and overlooks a lush green Forrest. Food Tip: Overall food is good. Our favourite has been: Thai Curry and Khow Suey are a must try. They have an awesome Breakfast spread and they serve lively local cuisine which is not to miss out.

The place is good, but the food welcomed us to Kerala more than coorg, being a native of coorg I found the cuisine was more kerala oriented and was forced, they should include local cuisine in their menu, karnataka has diverse food recipes , why not include them instead of forcing us to eat something we may not want to!!

The overall experience was really good and mainly the hospitality was excellent the staff their so friendly as we took our kids Housekeeping shivani Jonas, jotin. Was soo cooperative and they hospitality was next level the crook wilderness is soo beautiful it’s a must visit place for relaxation

The stay at Coorg Wilderness Resort for a memorable one.. The people at this place makes it so comforting. From the booking, to welcome, to stay, service.. the most common factor is their positive vibe and sense of customer service. Rak****ha, Prakaash, Mrinal, Anuraag, Shisira, ***isha.. everyone were so helpful. You made our experience so pleasant. Thank you all for your service.. you make the resort such a nice place.
