One of the worst experiences I had -
1. Severe Spider Infestation in the Room:
On our very first night, we encountered two extremely large spiders descending from the ceiling—one of which was roughly the size of a human hand. This was a distressing experience, especially with a child in the room. We had to call room service in the middle of the night and wait outside until the issue was handled.
The presence of such large spiders raises serious concerns about guest safety and pest control, especially given the potential risk of them being venomous. Had there been any harm, who would have been held responsible?
2. Neglected Cleanliness Requests:
Despite our request the next morning to have spider webs cleaned, we continued to find webs and more spiders the following evening. This reflects poorly on the responsiveness to guest concerns and the general upkeep of the rooms.
3. Insect Infestation Throughout the Room:
We observed a constant flow of insects into our room every evening. I had to personally request a broom daily just to clean up and deal with them myself, which is not acceptable given the premium pricing of the stay. This is not the level of hygiene or comfort we expected.
4. Cat Roaming Freely in Dining Area:
Lastly, a cat was roaming freely around the entire property, including the dining area. It was unclear whether this was a pet or a stray, but its presence in a food service area was extremely unhygienic and off-putting.

Our stay here was a complete disappointment. The walkway to the rooms is dangerously steep and slippery, with no proper steps, making it extremely unsafe and especially inconvenient to bring a two-wheeler up. For a location with such a slope, footsteps are an absolute must, yet nothing is provided. The food was terrible – breakfast was just for the name's sake with hardly any options or quality. No proper kids play area, and the so-called indoor games are just showpieces – nothing functional or engaging. There were no other activities either, making the entire experience boring and frustrating. To add to the disappointment, the staff was completely non-interactive and seemed disinterested in helping or even responding. Overall, a real waste of money. Would definitely not recommend this place to anyone. One of the worst stays we’ve had.

"We spent 3 blissful days at Jungle Hill Resort, and it was nothing short of perfection! Possibly the worst resort which would ruin your hard earned vacation. Resort with frequent power cut, believe it or not there was no power in night for hrs., no water in morning.. so check before u go to washroom.. The most interesting is they use the same bedsheet of previous guest, so check your bedsheet pillow covers .. For every issue they had silly reasons.. for bedsheet they said laundry is not doing it properly.. for electricity they said power is disconnected and generator can't run for hrs.. for water they said someone leave the tap open... So instead of getting into all these reasoning during ur vacation.. chose abetter place.

Worst experience ever had, Rooms are dirty, staff are rude and unfriendly. Worst food ever from a resort. Complimentary breakfast is only for name’s sake. When we asked for additional beds, they provided one mattress with untidy bed sheets. The bathroom wash basin was broken and at first, we thought it was a design.

Peaceful stay in the middle of coffee estates, For relaxation one of the best place in madikeri, from city just 6 km ,No vehicle sounds nothing. Rooms are builted in hilly area so bit difficult for aged peoples but we can take our veichle near to the room and they have inhouse restaurant with multi cusines, swimming pool ,indoor gaming area, small kids park and every weekend they will do the campfire. Overall beautiful stay at jungle Hill resort.
